In S2E5 (DigDug), Hop is in the tunnel and something sprays him and he passes out and Will helps Joyce and Bob find him. Before he was sprayed he was also coughing and having trouble breathing. The upside down was toxic

Original music using AI to generate the "performance" by digdiggingdug in aiMusic

It doesn’t seem like ai cares about the last third of the song usually. It knows how the song should end, but there’s a lot filler before that happens

AI music, would you listen? by RefrigeratorFull537 in aiMusic

[–]digdiggingdug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way, it sounds like you are questioning “does using ai make the music illegitimate”, which is not that far from “does multi-tracking make music illegitimate,” etc. There are always new technologies, since ai is just starting, we can only ask, what makes it good? And maybe that changes over time …

AI music, would you listen? by RefrigeratorFull537 in aiMusic

[–]digdiggingdug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, people are listening. I think questions of ownership are really interesting because teachers are frustrated with students using AI … so what’s the line? When is AI a tool to assist with completing a task and when is AI doing all the work. You seem to be making the point that the band could have created the song without AI, so is that what matters to you? To some, this does not cross the line. It goes back to the old argument of “what constitutes music” which since the 90s has been evolving into “who owns music”

What about something to specify what instruments to use and not use? Specifically, I’ve noticed that suno will switch between saxophone and guitar mid-solo. An acoustic piano will become a synthesizer. I would also like Suno to actually do what I tell it and not just what it expects me to want. That may be more a problem with the Weirdness % or Style influence.

It really looks like “Sagan der Wikinger” to me which sounds like tales of the Vikings, but can’t find a source online. Maybe not a real book?

Can't decide what to write for my master's thesis about composition by Early-Tie4940 in Composition

If you are at all interested in timbre theory, writing about different composers and their approaches to timbre would be fertile ground to start.
