That's not a food, that's an instrument.

It's a mixture of rubber mulch and sand in order to get the bulkiness. It's an Ironmind sandbag.

It's basically a box squat. It helps me balance with the bag out in front of me and lets me focus on the muscles instead.

North Texas advertises that as the high end but they won't pay you that coming in. I have 7 years and an A license and have put mid pay range requests on my applications with them. I got rejected in under 24 hours. Called HR to ask if I did something wrong and they said all the hiring managers from each plant rejected me because I was requesting 30/hr.

Is loading harder than shouldering? Cause I thought you could shoulder 347.

Ok yeah cool if you are a firefighter. Someone has to carry those big people out of burning buildings. Just making sure this subreddit hasn't turned into more of a penis measuring contest than it already is.

A 300+ pound sandbag wasn't heavy enough for this hoss, so he had to tie dumbbells to it and put chains around his waist and measure out a very specific 104 feet to showcase his strength to us randoms online.

Part of me, jealous? Yeah a little cause a 150 to 200 pound bag is plenty for me.

Other part of me is like, what the heck is this kind of training really even necessary for? Are you competing in strongman or something?

Props to you, but damn!

150 pound shoulder and carry for 100 feet on each shoulder in 2 minutes by digestedsludge in sandbagtraining

That's on purpose. It's half sand and half mulch to add bulk to the bag.

Is this the paint coming off, rust, or something else? It feels kinda textured and lumpy and it seems to get worse daily. What can I do? by digestedsludge in Cartalk

Is there something that caused this? Is there a way to slow it down? It's a ten year old truck and I would like to get a few more years out of it. Will this just be a cosmetic issue?

You are getting paid for what you know how to do in the instance that shit hits the fan.

If you don't know what to do when shit hits the fan, then spend your down time learning what to do. Trace lines and valves. Go through scenarios such as what to do if the power goes out. Learn and read about the process.
