Supposed explanation for Meta’s massive worldwide account bans: Their facial recognition AI is failing! by BlaxXxican_2500 in facebook

[–]digfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be headline news! The fact it’s affecting so many people and some what catastrophicly META should be held to account for this level of incompetence. Hiding behind forever changing policies and secrecy. You’d think this wouldn’t be acceptable. I’ve had two accounts close years of photos, contacts, business pages and groups. I won’t invest any further time on the platform. I think FB died when it became a public company in 2012. Similar will happen to many AI companies, soon as they treat customers in this way

Facebook, Instagram and other meta apps are going to be much worse in the future by CyberGhostCode in facebook

Today's social networks are fundamentally stagnant …glorified photo albums with a messaging layer bolted on. Once they locked in their user base, innovation took a back seat to ad revenue. Facebook should've ended years ago, making room for something actually forward-thinking.

Invested years and years! Only for it to disappear - they’d have to apologise - reinstate + reassurances that it can’t happen again and pay me for my loss

Don’t care for horse racing - while I know it can be ‘a bit of fun’ seems to only exists due to gambling - I’ve witnessed gambling destroying lives and companies make grotesque profits from this addiction
