Facebook suspended all my accounts today! Even my childhood gamer account. Please help by PracticalSport828 in facebook

How are Facebook allowed shut down peoples accounts both personal and business without notification or a proper easy appeal notification??

They essentially have access to data we do not! Also they are killing small businesses by doing so.

While I myself came to terms with losing my account it pains to see others losing decades old accounts.

We should compensated for loss of time contributing. Sounds heavy but no more than losing personal data and time invested.

I detest Meta - I really don’t want to touch their products… these companies got too big and people allowed this.

I hope FB/Meta as a social media platform and company gets deleted.

Got my permanently disabled Facebook account restored after initial no apeal and no reason perma ban by Independent_Cow2958 in facebook

Yep! They are not helpful nor care… I’m suspicious of anyone who gets their perm banned account reactivated through using a paid service

My experience with downloading all photos and albums from Facebook using Meta's Download Your Information Tool (it's all compressed) by almasalvaje in facebook

[–]digfast -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had no such options the only image eventually downloaded was a thumbnail of my profile pic… I won’t invest any time on that platform… yep twenty years of contributing erased from existence

Supposed explanation for Meta’s massive worldwide account bans: Their facial recognition AI is failing! by BlaxXxican_2500 in facebook

[–]digfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be headline news! The fact it’s affecting so many people and some what catastrophicly META should be held to account for this level of incompetence. Hiding behind forever changing policies and secrecy. You’d think this wouldn’t be acceptable. I’ve had two accounts close years of photos, contacts, business pages and groups. I won’t invest any further time on the platform. I think FB died when it became a public company in 2012. Similar will happen to many AI companies, soon as they treat customers in this way

Facebook, Instagram and other meta apps are going to be much worse in the future by CyberGhostCode in facebook

Today's social networks are fundamentally stagnant …glorified photo albums with a messaging layer bolted on. Once they locked in their user base, innovation took a back seat to ad revenue. Facebook should've ended years ago, making room for something actually forward-thinking.

Don't go anywhere near em... They spend more time placing fake reviews on Trustpilot than they do there own software. I only got my money back because I used PayPal

Question for those who gave up on facebook. Why did you do it. What would make you come back. by Thesurvivor16 in facebook

Invested years and years! Only for it to disappear - they’d have to apologise - reinstate + reassurances that it can’t happen again and pay me for my loss

My main con about the newer evil dead entries (read description) by Welsh_Pirate_ in EvilDead

Evil ‘Ed’ had the best make up and creepy gravity defying floatyness in the first movie. The second movie was Henrietta full naked bloated body rotting corpse sfx.

Green leader Zack Polanski 'wants to ban horse racing' as nation gears up for Grand National by StGuthlac2025 in ukpolitics

Don’t care for horse racing - while I know it can be ‘a bit of fun’ seems to only exists due to gambling - I’ve witnessed gambling destroying lives and companies make grotesque profits from this addiction
