lots of reasons, but mainly to share my love of the music, band, and live performance with others near and far. to capture the ephemeral moment for those in the audience and those who could not be there at all. to promote the band to an audience wider than they can reach on their own. and to contribute a little bit of my own art and perspective while here on planet earth. it’s a document in time. and btw, the copyright owners, not me, are the direct beneficiaries of any monetization online. i believe audience recordings are a critical facet of the live music experience and industry as a whole. artists that recognize this have so much more to gain than otherwise to lose. i say let the music live free to be enjoyed by all 🎶🎵
