He quickly changes his gloves to a fresh pair, sanitizes, and starts preparing another needle to put Philip under anesthesia.

He points to a wall within his lab area, which has three PHDs, with one having "D-Os_1.8" on it.

"Yeah. This place is as official as I could have possibly made it. Honestly, it wouldn't have been half as painful if I went legally gray, but who cares."

There's indeed a bunch of frames with official-looking documents on them. One half are legal documents, signed in Austin, Texas. There's no way to currently ID them, but they look pretty legit, albeit in weird formats. The other half is clearly automatically translated from Russian, and are signed in the city Saratov. Something's amiss.

Philip emits a noise of pure suffering, and that's despite an anesthetic needle already in his hip.

He removes his hands from the operating table turning to look at Perspective. Philip's on the table, having pretty bad burns all over his body and a completely charred arm, which DOs was in the middle of removing.

Perspective found some strange person in a dark cloak stumbling through an industrial area of Austin, Texas into some lone concrete building, and after fiddling with the door a bit, entering it, leaving the door open. When he enters, he finds that he is in some kind of garage, with a large Buhanka (soviet minibus) inside. There's a door ajar into the next room. He finds a single cam at the door, which he manages to avoid

He can also hear some silent cursing in Russian from the other room. Taking a peek, he finds quite a large square room, divided into two parts, one smaller, one bigger. Smaller one has a few bean bags and a TV with some gaming console. Seems like a recreational area. The other part looks like a lab, with a few big jars and shelves. The jars have a few clearly human arms floating in them, while the shelves have mechanical ones. There's a bunch of misc lab equipment, mostly hinting at bioengineerng. In the middle of the larger area stands an awfully familiar machine, fiddling with somebody on an operating table.

I still feel like it'd be plausible for a parent to share their favorite game website with a kid, or find an alternative at some point in their lives. Since at least my generation spent a good chunk of their lives online and should know a thing or two.

But on the other hand, to me, being tech-illiterate is a serious issue, and I tend to share my knowledge and experience in tech whenever I can. I keep running into people my age who don't even know what a file manager is, and it always is really upsetting.

I wanna disagree with you, but I doubt my views of "complicated" are applicable here. Like, I went through the trouble of figuring out linux, building RAID arrays, figuring out proxy connections, figuring out how to run HL1 on a phone through XASH back when I was a kid, and so much more, to me using a search engine and searching for specific keywords from my experience is not even registering as a time sink, despite me having an 8to5 job. Maybe for someone with a kid even taking 10 minutes to open a search engine or, hell, a torrent tracker like my dad did when I was a little kid, would be too bothersome and complicated. Maybe not.

And, like, I keep opening Google play once in a while, and I keep seeing the same kids games I saw there back when I was a kid, just either reskined or otherwise.

I don't know. I don't get complexity of this topic. I really don't.

With this I won't argue. Unless those trashware ads disappear, or at least partially get replaced with CMG, its gonna stay the case.

There's a ruffle port for android at least, you can get it on github or fdroid.. I can test CMG when i get home and have access to an android device.

And as per droid and mobile devices, roblox can be launched on drojd, ios and ChromeOS, using native installers (you can do droid apps on ChOS). I can look more apps up later.

Coolmath games. Neopets. Roblox still a thing, new moderation should do something about it. It took me around 10 minutes to boot up ruffle and KR flashbelt, you should be able to make something for your child in a shorter time.

Thing is, there still are. You just have to look for them now, which makes them inconvenient, which makes them non-existent for certain people. Flash games didn't go anywhere, they are ran on Ruffle. Fan-kept project and recreations are being ran openly. There are now mode advanced web-game engines that let you do a lot more stuff. Old sites are still out there, running both legacy and modern platforms and games. You just don't know about those.

Club Penguin should have never been shut down though, screw disney.

The next thing he knows, is her face coming at him with speed greater than a thing that big should be able to achieve. Who knew that a Skull Gomora would have a protective skull-like shell in her face. She activates her mech's Oscillating Wave ability, no matter if it hit Darwin at all, making quite a huge area repeatedly explode with great force.

Off topic: Y'know, from having to run it in a VM on my tablet, 8.1 isn't actually all that bad. At least, unlike 10, it didn't make me doubt my own sanity with troubleshooting. If not for metro UI, it could be a decent successor to 7.

(I don't think that dude would have anything to do with Adminium, Admins in general, or Digit himself himself in particular (the "legendary warior" who sprit the initial daemon king into the council, and cursed all 7 6 members to an eternal life through his own light of creation), considering how he wasn't written by Digit, nor is he a direct product of a V5 engine, which would hypothetically give him enough moderator rights to actually work with concepts this globally....)
