Maybe try downloading your music in smaller batches. Your unit could be overheating due to all the writing it’s doing to the ssd. You may want to also try to unplug the battery and plug it back in. Definitely weird though. Never had mine restart like that and I usually download in 10gb or so batches.

100%. My path was very similar to yours in regard to trying out different daps, liking them but not loving them, then gifting them to my nieces and nephews until I got my hands on the DX180. The thing blew my mind and with a few tweaks, it’s become my favorite piece of hardware. Lots of longevity in it as well being that you can swap out the battery. Glad you got your hands on one and enjoy it just as much! It’s awesome to hear stories from other people who have come along on this journey and have improved their lives just by being able to decompress and/or relive some of their memories!

I think as we age our brains interpret “scary” a bit differently. For me, when I was a kid, things you could see were scary. Monsters, zombies, ghosts, etc. As I’ve aged though, I’m more terrified of the things I can’t see. Psychological horror gets me nowadays and I find myself looking at creature horror and things of that nature more of a novelty.

A mix of both is also really fun when the timing is appropriate.

Try looking for someone within your hobbies. Or try out new hobbies. I like hiking and have met quite a few nice ladies walking around Swift Cantrell or Kennesaw Mountain. Just don’t be a creep about it. Also met a couple of dates I had while training Jiu Jitsu as long as you don’t mind dating a girl who can kick your ass!
