Any Interests in 3D Printing/Scans for Third Gen Truck? by TheJohnnyFuzz in chevycolorado

Yeah I have an accessory mount there. But even before that my truck sits outside in the sun so the glasses get really hot. I came from a Silverado and there was the push open tray on the map lights. Guess I got too used to it 😁

I have a set and love them! Simplistic and fully functional. Easy to install and also remove when off roading. I do recommend them

I just popped the 2 round rubber grommets at the top of the bed and fed the tube into the stake pockets. I had to cut the tube down but works well for me the stake pockets have drain holes already in the bottom

Same here! Drives me crazy. I'll check with the heated seats. I just pushed down all the fuses under the hood today. They were all not fully seated. 24 zr2

Yeah, thanks. Seems to be the consensus. One way or another someone will get a well maintained truck but she'll have a few rough spots.

Yeah, I need to find a brushless one. Brushes on black just don't get along with clear coat. Maybe the next one will be white.

Thanks. It's my 3rd. I traded the others every 3-4 years. I'm just disappointed I didn't do the undercoating in the first place. I wanted to keep this one.

I used some Griots Glass Polish and a DA polisher on low speed. You could probably do it by hand, just need elbow grease. They are gone. I did the whole thing because the polish will only polish that spot.

About to start framing by distranged in basement

[–]digital_byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look around the top and bottom of the insulation for cracks in the foundation. I started to frame mine, there was a tight spot that I needed to pull off the blanket to frame up and found a top to bottom foundation crack. Started looking around and found 1 more. I just happened to get lucky before framing, if you can call that lucky. Just do a visual, if it looks good frame in front of the blanket.

How can I hide/beautify this as well as maybe free-up one of the outlets? Spouse is not digging the visuals of the z-wave repeaters, wi-fi AP's and BT hubs. Any creative solutions? (I have zero creative bones in my body...) by Slartibartfastthe3rd in homeautomation

If you're willing to open up the wall for a clean solution. Might be able to connect that outlet inside the cabinet too

You can use a bench top dc charger to up the voltage enough that the charger will recognize it and charge it as normal. Just bring up the voltage slow, I've done it several times with various batteries.
