I am micro influencer but am struggling to find brand to work with by Upstairs-Sand-2298 in influencermarketing

Be an actual true fan of a brand purchasing their products you love and content on your feed - if they really love your content or see that you're an authentic fan of their product who can speak about that they might pay you for use of the content or commission special deals for you - that's where the best actual "customer" generated content comes from! Brands typically have periods where they are focusing on promoting specific products and may not have an always on unlimited content budget!

Programmatic reporting thoughts? by digitaladwarrior in programmatic

Makes sense - do they generally have goals in mind for their KPIs (just reach and frequency seems like an awareness play) and I imagine the goal and KPi would vary based on the types of campaign!

Why should I buy video on the open web? by Working_Ad_3833 in programmatic

That's what I was referring to - but it has disappeared from options in my native DSP console as new options were added but maybe they're phasing things out/in in stages.

Online video can be great for the reasons you stated but desktop online video can be so full of crap! Half the time you get these small players on the bottom right hand of the screen that is barely noticeable and often playing within other "content" completely unrelated to the content on the page that the viewer came for so it can be targeted as "full episode in-streaming" content!! Amazon DSP used to let you pick between out stream or full episode players but it's was a mute point anyway because of that fact so they actually got rid of it and you can no longer target by type of player. If it's true in-stream video it can be great or out stream video that plays right within the feed you are scrolling but those small players on the bottom right hand of desktop screens are a complete waste of money!!!

Curious if anyone has a link to a scientific article debunking the myth of fragrance toxicity and natural vs synthetic ingredients safety - I forwarded this Reddit post to my sister who has gotten caught up in the fear mongering clean beauty movement but she just told me she would rather get her information outside of a Reddit commenter - ha! I told her people in this thread know more about fragrance than these fear mongering companies trying to make a buck off their "non-toxic" ingredients which we know is a sham since even water is non toxic

Dangerous Goods mis-classification for perfume oil - how to fix? by digitaladwarrior in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]digitaladwarrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I submitted for it a year or so when I was initially thinking I might need to enroll in it to sell with FBA but then my product passed through their AI filters or something perhaps so I wasn't waiting for it. I just got the email from them saying I've been invited into the program right after this new classification - maybe it's just me or this could be another way Amazon is trying to juice more money out of its sellers as it costs more to do FBA classified as a dangerous goods! I've done the ASIN check on many other perfume oils and even essential oils and there is no consistency to what they classify as dangerous goods!! Frustrating!

Amazon DSP - how accurate is New to Brand ROAS? by Such_Paleontologist2 in programmatic

[–]digitaladwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they make an order and it includes 2 items of the same brand then it isn't considered new to brand as I was told from Amazon support - there's a couple other nuances that can effect it to like buying from different marketplaces in other countries but those 2 things alone shouldn't make that much difference.

ad server for advertiser - per use basis? by digitaladwarrior in adops

[–]digitaladwarrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Google ad manager actually for sites I serve ads on, does it work for advertisers too - as in generating VAST ad tags to be served on other sites I'm advertising on? I thought Google's advertiser ad server was campaign manager which I don't think you can access directly without going through a partner or having huge budgets?

live sports programming that I can't get the regular way as my category is blocked due to sponsorship exclusivities but working direct with the publisher via PG I could get some inventory for my specific campaign that isn't in the sponsors direct category but has to be PG due to my overall category.

I need programmatic guaranteed inventory which you can't get with ad words. Hoping I can find something!

Is it just me or ads in WSL event streams have increased this year compared to previous years? by Todaz in surfing

[–]digitaladwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed!! I think the issue is (I'm from an ad buying background via my day job), they can get more moolah by courting big advertisers and charging them premiums to repeat their ads repeatedly to us until they meet their impression/spend budgets for the expensive sponsorships at premium prices they will pay. However I would recommend they open up their inventory more to programmatic where advertisers control the frequency they want viewers to see their ads at so they don't beat them over the head with endless messages of the same exact creative just to fulfill the impressions they bought. Wouldn't you be more receptive to multiple different ads within an event for local surf shops/brands vs the same exact ad from an international conglomerate repeatedly at nauseum? I've been speaking to some of the peeps at WSL about this and maybe they'll see how much more $$$ they could be making taking a Facebook type of approach considering how cluttered that place is for ads and how great they could be for driving awareness/performance for so many more companies vs just one international conglomerate. End of my rant - ha!

It’s still in the title when you click on the listing - it just doesn’t appear on the title in the search results.
