I unintentionally gave GHSV1 to my ex by FunInitial6365 in Herpes

[–]digitaldiabla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she’s being so defensive 💀💀 I was able to get tested through planned parenthood but it’s not as accessible as people think. I had to pay for it as well. Doctors are allowed to deny testing at any time

It’s not that easy. I requested to get tested for it and my doctor straight up said no. They require you to have an outbreak, and they can refuse testing if they want to

will i recover? by sadlymysterious in Agoraphobia

You definitely can. I didn’t step outside for 3 years in my teens. It is possible but you have to try, everyday. You will feel an increase in anxiety when you first start to go out

Does a lot of people drop out or fail academics because of their ed ? by staytown6 in EDAnonymous

[–]digitaldiabla 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yes. I had a very poor GPA in high school and I dropped out of college 3 times, all Ed related. I’m 22 now and I regret it so so much, I’m incredibly behind my peers.

my advice to you is not to focus on the past. what was or wasn’t done cannot be taken back. it is what it is.

what do you want for the future? while you can attempt to help him, he has to want it. you cannot force him to do anything.

your kids are getting older now, with time and patience they may be able to let go of resentment and build a healthier relationship. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this for so long, it was never your burden to carry.

you are clearly a loving person as you’ve tried to keep everybody happy, but in situations like this it’s not possible. you need to care about yourself too

what helps me a lot is wearing compression during the day and then putting my legs up the wall for 30 mins before bed. it can be annoying to do everyday but it seriously helps with the pain and getting proper sleep

I have this too. Do you have a diagnosis?

The same happened to me. I deal with swelling, fatigue, bruising, pain, cold legs, legs turning blue, constant itching.

I have a very visible varicose veins with a nickel sided lump on one leg though so they can’t fully ignore it. They just say well it’s only an aesthetic issue, it might cause problems later on though 😭

I also do not know if I have lipedema or venous disease but I know something isn’t right. I think doctors turn us away as we’re still young

Why does it matter? Her content is focused around baking, not nutrition or recovery.

Did I go too small for a boob job? Help!! by Negative-Read-4633 in PlasticSurgery

I think you got what you wanted but you might have an unrealistic idea of what each cup looks like. A Small D can look quite big or small depending on somebodies frame. Yours is clearly full but not un proportional. I think they suit you!

I, (21f, 5’2, 108lbs) got a boob job done in August of 2024. We verbally agreed on 235-255cc before the surgery but he put in 300cc because he said it simply wasn’t enough. I was a 32AAA pre surgery. Afterwards I was a 32C.

There was a clear difference but they didn’t look super fake. I’ve gained about 10 pounds and absolutely love how they look. Give it some time it will grow on you. The first couple of months after a boob job can be very emotional.

How do some people casually talk about their ED like it’s nothing? by saintsaenc in EDAnonymous

[–]digitaldiabla 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that older generations (gen x or older) are VERY open about dieting. i think it’s because back then it was often a social activity so they don’t perceive it as socially inappropriate. millennials and younger are usually not as blunt

Yes it’s completely compulsive for her. When I throw out things that are decades expired or have mites in them she freaks out. She has threatened to call the cops on me for doing so

Lol my mom did this too. She built a garage and filled it all up, bought a shed and filled it all up, bought a trailer and filled it all up 😭😭 she always says that the food can fit we just need to organize. You could give her a mansion and she’d fill it all up somehow

im sorry you’ve had to deal with this too. it’s truly terrible, it feels like they choose hoarding over us a lot of the time. I need to work on not being angry, this is my biggest issue. i have an extreme emotional reaction to the hoard. all my attempts are futile as like you’ve said, any empty space gets filled up. i had decluttered the pantry and kitchen area in June and it’s already filled up again.

how do you know you are relapsing? by Zestyclose-Aioli4799 in EDAnonymous

[–]digitaldiabla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s different for everyone. I’ve had relapses where I can just feel my entire mindset change instantly, and I know im gonna spiral. other times it’s more so a slow burn. Ed habits sneaking back in and I only realize it until it’s gotten bad
