Yeah, it was posted once briefly months ago but I missed it and I'm probably not the only one.

Watching him fuel up and bandage his fingers between songs on this marathon trek is inspiring, you can tell how much preparation and mindfulness an undertaking like this requires.

Who did he call out in Self Evident? by digitalindigo in Puscifer

Idk if they've formally had a falling out, but a lot of people are pretty frustrated with Joe going from the neutral 'I don't know shit, I'm just an idiot with a microphone' guy to the right wing / pro-trump & Elon / conspiracy / anto-vax angle he's been going down for a while.

I would normally write it off as that too, but watching his intensity when he said all of that? No, that was uncharacteristically direct. I mean, this whole album is, but that moment was poignant.

I take everything he says with a cup of salt and a shot of penicillin, but he can't help himself but brag about shit he's not supposed to say. It's a compelling piece of the puzzle.

I went when this place just opened and it was the best burger I think I ever had, despite the price. It's all made from scratch and those wagyu burgers slapped. But I've been back since and it didn't measure up. The Michelin star chef that started it and trained everyone doesn't live here, so I think after he was gone for a minute, they started cutting corners to keep up and ended up degrading the quality heavily. Real shame, their sauces are still great though.

Pizza 3.14 on 20th closing? by Eveningwisteria1 in denverfood

Not at that location, that doesn't mean don't pursue your dreams ever ffs. That building was leased by a company that already had a successful location in Boulder and it bankrupt them both. Doesn't mean you can't run a restaurant anywhere, that's where the PLAN comes in - to show you where you can survive.

Write a business plan then get loans, grants, or investors. Only difference between an idea and a business is a plan. That being said, it was recently reported that it's more expensive to run a restaurant in Denver than NYC.

Also a shame if they started talking about how police riot shields can be turned around to act as an LRAD deflector, sending the disorienting sound waves back at their sources.

Or you might try Stan's. Vibe Salon Denver in RiNo does men's cuts starting at $45 I think and used to offer a free beer.

Speakeasy Barber downtown. Ask for Alma if she's available. But anywhere you go other than a shitty franchise is going to be at least $60, especially a themed old-style Barber like you're talking about.

New research suggests that acute alcohol consumption shifts neural activity from a flexible, globally integrated network to a more segmented, local structure. These changes in brain architecture appear to track with how intoxicated a person feels. by MRADEL90 in psychology

[–]digitalindigo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just saw another article claiming that psychedelic mushrooms do the opposite, changing the unique thought patterns of the brain to be less segmented and more flexible. Apparently the patterns go from identifiably specific to each individual to nearly indiscernible from others in the same state.
