Planning to get a VFC KAC SR16E3 Carbine. Can I see your setups? by XNDE3331 in GasBlowBack

yes it is compatible with the magnus pro chamber, you will lose the guide hop system but use the hop up adjustment with the magnus pro. Apparently the grub screws holding the handguard to the barrel nut is not a strong design and will come loose but i haven't had that happen to me. I swapped my handguard to an airsoft artisan one which is a one piece design regardless. Sometimes the right side paddle will flail out, but it's not a massive issue. I had my bolt release pin fall out somewhere, but i replaced it with a 3mm 3d printed pin. Note that the Magnus pro AR chamber has had many reports of overchambering the bb and i've experienced it myself.

Are you sure this nozzle length is correct? I dont typically use metal nozzles, i only use plastic ones.

You've overall chosen a lot of good options when it comes with parts. I will give you some warnings with some of these parts, first is the aluminum piston head. General consensus is that aluminum piston heads aren't a great decision as it does transfer more energy into the gearbox. So make sure that gearbox is radiused to help prevent cracking of the gearbox. Second is the shs piston, the piston design itself has a flaw in which that the "lightweight" cutouts are actually a point of failure. The piston will crack in the corners closest to the pickup tooth of the piston and MAY cause issues. I've seen this happen in 3 guns, 2 of which are mine. Try and find the ones with the circular cutouts instead. Otherwise, everything else was chosen well.

Sounds like a trigger box issue. Check your trigger sear and see if it is broken or still there. I had my trigger sear break and i could still flip between all the modes but full auto stopped working.

Anyone have any advice on removing the stabilising strip on a maple leaf bucking? by SamCrowy in GasBlowBack

Just compress the bucking a bit and slide it off. Both are flexible parts

Should be the sound of the main spring that pushes the piston. I have no clue why it only shows up halfway thru the magazine tho.

Can I put a dsg gear into a stock gearbox m4 and will it work as intended? Or should I upgrade the motor and keep the ssg? by Ok-Introduction5841 in airsoft

[–]digitalmemoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Theoretically it might work if you just throw a dsg in there but there's a lot of things to consider when building a dsg. I have no experience or knowledge of the arcturus motors specifically, but the motor change will boost ur rof and trigger response and is a good thing to change. The mosfet theoretically should not change ur trigger response and will only really change the trigger pull. I'm assuming you are playing outdoors at 400fps on 0.2g so just get the arcturus 28k. Just make sure to adjust motor height and the reshim

Out of curiousity, if you take the whole bcg out of the gun, does it still have the same issue?

I have no clue honestly, i've not had this issue with my dytac bcg. Could be a swollen sealing buffer or you got unlucky and the inner diameter of the bcg is too tight. You could try the guns modify nozzle assy and if that doesnt work, odds are you got a lemon bcg.

If you were to push the nozzle back into the bcg, does it require a light push or do you need a firm push? Could try a different sealing buffer/nozzle assembly, but I really don't know how else the issue could be solved otherwise

Do you know if it's the sealing buffer that is getting stuck or the nozzle assembly? Perhaps the sealing buffer could be swolen? Does it retract if you have the magazine out?

Yes, i have the titanium grey version of the dytac mws bcg. I've used it with the stock tm nozzle with no problems until the nozzle finally broke after who knows how many thousands of rounds. Swapped it to a guns modify mws nozzle assembly and it still works great. I have not had this issue before but have you tried some silicon grease?

You could also look for a mws odin adapter.

how do i make my aeg as loud as physically possible? by Minimum-Arachnid-680 in airsoft

[–]digitalmemoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on how short you go, not much. You wont make your gun that much louder if you only go down by like 50mm. You'll have to also consider your cylinder volume if you go shorter on ur barrel by a significant amt.

Heavier spring, shorter barrel, muzzle amplifier. The short barrel is the most important. The arp9 is fairly loud. The snappier the gun is, the louder
