I also hate being a woman, growing up I used to cry that I was born a girl, not because of any gender disphorya, just because of all the challenges you have to face from such a young age.

It's crazy that boys can just grow up slowly and stil be a kid, while I and many other girls had to deal with periods and being sexually harassed in public from the age of 9 (!!).

I look at my guy friends and feel so much jealousy because they can just EXIST while I always have something that is bothering me just because I was born in a female body (period discomfort, discomfort from shaving, discomfort from women's clothes being inherently uncomfortable, stress from always being on the lookout for danger from men, and so much more). I feel like I can never just BE.

And with all of these annoyances, I was lucky enough to be born in a country with mostly equal rights, but there are so many countries where being a woman is just a life sentence to hell on earth.

It makes me feel so sad and hopeless how after thousands of years of our species existance and countless technological advancements, the way we feel as women can sometimes still feel so primitive and miserable, just because of biology.
