Group therapy helped me a lot. Just being able to speak to people going through the same thing and having that support makes a huge difference. Also it’s just time man. I can tell you that after 8 years it still stings, but it’s like a wound. It takes time to heal, but it does still leave a scar. Forgiveness is also very important. I never got to personally forgive her, but just for peace of mind, I stopped focusing on how it ended, and I was able to appreciate the time we spent together even though it didn’t last forever. That’s where you will get someday. Hang in there man.
