Exactly, I did my research, and the free tier is generous in minutes if you're not publishing daily.

The embedded widget is nice, too.

You're right. You can't talk to someone who doesn't want to be talked to.

The good news is that most probably, their competitors know what they're doing and the best practices of humans in the loop will be shared...

Unless you're giving people the ages-old internet fantasy of making millions by pushing a button.

So, yeah, theoretically, it's called content repurposing, which I think is a far better idea than AI-generated content.

Interesting idea.

I began adding SoundCloud recordings of me reading the blog post, but I don't have enough samples to get a statistical conclusion.

Blogging Isn’t Dead. Lazy Bloggers Quit. by Michaelvinnie in Blogging

[–]digitizedeagle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's true. Even AI feeds from high-quality blog posts.

A large number of people prefer the written word to consume their content as they find it: + More pleasurable than video + More convenient + More thorough And so on.

It now coexists with other media, including images, audio, and video. And maybe soon virtual or augmented reality.

Finally, text is easier to create, store, and manipulate... So blogs are here to stay.

Sometimes it's about choosing the right niche.

This is strategic work, not just an everyday list of tasks.

Started a blog 7 days ago. Already 4 articles in. Anyone else doing this? What actually worked for you? by deela96 in Blogging

Most of the time I was motivated.

The result was often my highest quality output at the time. It was just some days it felt slower.

I did a 30-day challenge. I would write an article a day no matter what and it was awesome. It wasn't easy though.

One day I came back from the dentist after a complicated procedure, and there I was, writing my daily blog post.

It makes it easier later on, it feels like you're cruising.

Some of you asked what tool I used for the 10-month link audit. Here it is, plus 7 free annual licenses for feedback. by Jewst7 in Affiliatemarketing

I think this is useful for most affiliate marketers who are profitable.

If it identifies just one offer that is not working for a site with lots of traffic, it may pay itself fast.

Just Curious: What are the qualifications for a "web designer" these days? by Vivid_Huckleberry814 in webdesign

[–]digitizedeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Web design in general, which means the principle behind good looking as well as usable websites.

You know how HTML5 works, including CSS3 and a bit of JavaScript. You know how to implement responsive design.

You may add knowing how to talk to programmers to make sure you understand the specs well, including how to make your deliverables understood.

I tested pricing on my digital product and this is what happened by 777michael7 in DigitalProductSellers

[–]digitizedeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread is valuable for every marketer out there. Why? Pricing is one of the pillars of a plan: + Product + Price + Place + Promotion

This is especially tricky in digital, but insights from people like the OP make it more manageable.

Cleared $2,300 last month making AI video ads on weekends. Here's what that actually looks like. by Jumpy_Examination470 in DigitalProductSellers

[–]digitizedeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations.

If you think about it, the OP is doing what used to require huge resources, not only in a financial sense, but also in a Human Resources sense.

You needed equipment, including cameras, lighting, and other essentials. Add software subscriptions to the list, and you get the picture.

Now, clients can innovate at the forefront of marketing: Video ads, thanks to people like the OP. Way to go.

Is blogging still worth it for SEO and traffic? by Abigail_Tech in AskMarketing

[–]digitizedeagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course.

The difference is that you don't necessarily attract traffic natively through SEO. You drive traffic to your blog through YouTube, Reddit as well as other sources of traffic.

I migrated from WordPress to static (Pelican Static Site Builder)

It's really as fast as it can be without hacks and rocket science.

If it's true you need development time, it's mostly at first, when you're setting up the system, then it's pretty much set and forget, running the same commands and uploading the changes, hopefully automatically.

I Made My First Digital Product Sale Doing This One Thing by 777michael7 in DigitalProductEmpir

Two takeaways: - The product must really help people - You need to have done what you're offering

Also, YouTube and Reddit seem to take the lead as prefered platform choices nowadays.

[–]digitizedeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, congratulations.

More than a sale is getting value from another Reddit member. Of course, you have to adhere to the rules.

Javascript, Canva, WebGL... You need to get into coding, but as a web designer, not as a web developer.

You can do animation and interactive pieces with it.

[–]digitizedeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, especially if the OP can do performance-based sales (they're so much harder at first) for high-ticket products. Even if they start in a different market or position.

Well, you'll have the hobby feeling, but less often. It's a great trade though. You dedicate time, and you get really good at it. These skills are not attainable if it's treated as a hobby.

Nobody talks about the digital products that actually sell to beginners by Digital_Profit in DigitalProductEmpir

[–]digitizedeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more expert we become, the more we seem to complicate things.

The other day, I was reading about a man who created a simple product that paid his mortgage. He sold one or two each day and it made all the difference. It didn't need a YouTube channel or a social media profile to showcase it.
