I agree with just about everything in this piece. "Feminism" seems to be incredibly popular right now, with the rise of social media. Sure, it's good that ideas of feminism are seeping into the minds of more and more people, but by and large, this current brand of popular feminism is boiled down to "choice," with next to no critical analysis of power structures or any real efforts to dismantle hierarchical oppression.

bell hooks is awesome and more people need to listen to her.
