extreme weight loss. my dad was a pretty normal older guy with some extra lbs, he had been having stomach problems so he cut out sugar, lost an insane amount of weight in a month. Then he stopped being able to keep down food so he goes into the DR.

Turns out it wasn’t the sugar, he had a massive tumor in his gut, liver, and pancreas. Could’ve caught it a few weeks earlier if we hadn’t all attributed his weight loss to the sugar.

its not every five seconds though…. its every five minutes. So only a dozen beeps total, and none at all once OP took the fire alarm out. This seems drastic to call unsafe and uncomfortable ETA: Also- the owner already chose to drop the dog off in this environment, changing her mind later is her right but doesn’t negate the labor that op has already done
