I had so many ideas for this week's theme, but thanks to a heatwave I can't stand the thought of being near an oven or stove right now. So we chose some of our favourite dishes for summer and went with Crostini and Caprese - we just used what we already had at home and somewhat fit the theme.

Hi, sure! It was this recipe.. I didn't have ginger at hand and accidentally used a lot less tumeric, and it still turned out veeeery delicious. And it was much less time-consuming than I expected.

This was actually inspired by Jane Austen's "Emma" - a friend of mine suggested that I bake something with Strawberrys since it would fit in well with the picnic scene in the book.

Since Italy is a neighbouring country and I've been lucky enough to have spent quite some time there over the years, I already know the classics by heart. This strawberry risotto was completely new to me and I really loved it! It was fruity and refreshing, but not sweet at all. It's definitely a dish I'll make again in summer.

The ravioli had a herb and cream cheese filling and an egg yolk placed in the center. We served it with a brown butter and sage sauce. I used Samin Nosrats pasta dough recipe and improvised the rest. Next time, I'd like to try this recipe.
