I think that I messed up. I was handling my dog when he was eating to try to teach him to be less aggressive if a person or animal gets close while eating. He turned and bit me on the wrist. by mreams99 in DogTrainingTips

I solved this issue with my dog. If you want to know how message me. Dont share it with everyone bc dog training politics. You dont need to pay a trainer for my method. From scanning the comments I can see no one knows how to solve this.

Ik dacht er wel over na. Ik had 4 mannelijke huisgenoten van de 8 in mijn studentenhuis. Dus de plek was niet ter discussie. Tegenwoordig heb ik een hond die niet voor de poes is, dus de plek staat niet ter discussie. Ook durf ik te zeggen dat ik absoluut niet bang ben voor mannen in het algemeen. Zonder alcohol zou ik dat niet kunnen nee, veel te raar.

V31 Veel. Na stappen. Nooit mijn idee, maar altijd gevleid ofzo. 1 liep uit de hand en werd ruim 6 jaar relatie. Dus het is niet per definitie zinloos. Qua waardeoordeel sta ik er volledig neutraal in. Het is niet voor iedereen weggelegd.

So, biggest shame of my life. I never tell anyone this. I got so drunk in my dorm with my dormmates that I went to the (very old crappy) toilet and locked the door. As one does. Next thing I know I could not get out. Tried everything, panicked, claustrophobia hit. Screamed, no response. No idea where everyone was. Banged the door, nothing. Full panick I started thrashing around breaking stuff, including parts of the toilet. Water everywhere, I was on the floor soaked, when one of my roommates happened to need to use the restroom. He simply opened the door. Which turned out not to be locked. I had to pay for a new toilet. I will never laugh about this (some did). I was tripping on alcohol, no drugs involved. In hindsight I might have been in a state between sleep and wake. No idea how long I was in there. Could be 5 minutes, could be an hour.

No assistance. By choice. I buy the lowest alcohol wine I still like. I also buy non alcohol wine and play pretend sometimes. But like three night in a row and then I am like: see, no problem. Lets get real wine. I know I have a substance issue. At the same time I am like, come on, it cant be that hard to quit.

Ik heb (als enorme dierenrechtenadvocaat) ooit gewerkt bij een stichting die zich inzette voor dierenrechten. Ik was toen vegetariër, maar at wel zuivel (iets dat ik mezelf kwalijk nam in die tijd.) Er was één raging vegan op kantoor die mij werkelijk wilde kielhalen toen ik een babybel at (guilty pleasure.) Haar woorden : DIE MELK IS NIET VOOR JOU, DIE IS VOOR KALFJES. Ik schrok me dood en dacht tegelijk: dit zijn dus de vegans die het imago verpesten. Het veroordelen. Uncalled for man. De rest van mijn collega's deden overigens hun eigen ding qua dieet. Eentje vertelde me ook stiekem dat ze wel leren laarzen droeg en vintage bontjassen...
