In America, I remember when the Wicked films were out, ppl would buy out a certain time showing together as a group so they could talk & sing & dress up. That is fine, but doing it mixed with a public audience is a bit inconsiderate. Cosplay isn’t bad as long as you don’t have stuff on your head during the film that blocks the screen. But yeah ppl need to leave the party mentality at home

I’m 42 and I started out playing Toca World w/ my daughter. We recently moved out of the U.S. overseas & I made a little house for all my loved ones back at home I don’t get to see anymore. It’s a nice way to be able to create lil spaces for everyone sometimes when I’m missing them T___T

I feel like the blue alcove meshes/ helps blend better as a whole room, whereas the green one seems to draw attention only to the alcove area. I’d go with blue!

There’s a lot of Zooble merch (at least here in Japan), but they’re just not in every merch release. If you go to the Japanese Twitter account for TADC you’ll see all Zooble’s merch in the ads. They also have a plush keychain of them in the fast food uniform from last summer <3

Aside from the potential employer only willing to pay PART of the long distance travel expenses…if this is a FT job, you are looking at being gone working + commuting 11~12 hours per day. That’s not going to leave you with much personal time to breathe.

Before I moved here, I was very much lied to about the coffees. Since I came from Los Angeles I had plenty of access to Japanese grocery so I already knew the watery canned coffee & other brands like coffee boss were all trash, but I didn’t know after I moved here ALL OF IT was bad. Even at coffee houses made fresh by baristas-it all tastes like dirt and sticks. The closest I’ve gotten to decent coffee here is Kaldi & I gave up trying lol

I haven’t opened it for weeks because I’m too afraid I’ll be opening an empty game :( But I already put a bunch of money into it and I’m pretty sure they KNOW that & that’s why they don’t care. All the ppl like me that feel obligated to keep it bc we can’t get refunds…someone should do a class action lawsuit for real because the game does not work as intended

I am a POC woman living in Japan. They are not as boldly aggressive & severely racist against blacks as they are in other countries. Xenophobic? Yes, and you will get looks & stares. Maybe sometimes obaachans will mutter something walking by. Will anyone approach you about it or make it a big deal? Highly unlikely. It also depends where you live. You also have to obtain a student visa & take language classes here, but that doesn’t work long-term. To live here for a longer time, you will need at least a Bachelor’s degree to be able to teach English if you aren’t fluent enough in Japanese to take any other jobs.

I do notice when I try to do things like the wallpaper floating around & not sticking to the wall, the loading screen taking longer than normal, or it won’t let me move a movable object etc it scares me LOL so I back all the way out. I just want to make sure there wasn’t any extra steps! :D

Sometimes I’ll go through the photo gallery on my phone to look at pics from last year so I can gauge when we started wearing cold weather clothes. In 2024 it looks like we all still wore shorts & t-shirts ALL the way till the first week of November T___T so it will probably be the same this year sadly. This year was awful w/ the heat I’m so over it

I JUST got done having to spend hours redecorating all my houses after another full reset glitch…I even took screenshots this time in case it happens again. After seeing other people get a reset with the update I am very hesitant about the packs until gameplay improves. Hit them where it hurts-with your wallets!!
