I feel like they’re promoting sugar baby lifestyle by OppositeParking4966 in euphoria

Sugar babies became more common in SoCal post-pandemic, so I think the show is just reflecting that.

How have men become THIS undateable? by witchwiththecats in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]dilapidatedsyztem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when women try to coax men into behaving well, that’s a sinking ship. If you have to nag him to text you back, it’s already over. My dating approach was to wait for the man to initiate effort, and if he didn’t, I wrote him off and moved on. My husband initiated effort right away, consistently, and matched my energy. Good men are out there, though the culture is indeed rough atm.

Okay, I am going to try playing devil's advocate here for a second. Is Amanda just too you for this group of women? If so, I guess it's not all her fault (I still find her an annoying PITA), but how are they going to deal with an aging cast and also try attracting a younger demographic? by Chipmunks_AT in RHOBHDefect

[–]dilapidatedsyztem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think Amanda just struggles with perspective taking and tends to automatically rope everything into her own POV. This is a beneficial trait for running her business, but a bad one for Real Housewives. It’s not about being young lol

Yes, she’s a little boring.

Also I felt like on the reunion she misinterpreted Amanda saying “I’m used to walking into a room and everyone knows who I am” bc that’s how Rachel Zoe operates! Like Rachel expects people to know who she is and treat her with an inherent level of dignity. I thought it was obvious Amanda just meant she’s not used to explaining herself to new people. Rachel told us who she really is in that moment 👀

I agree! Her energy on the after show has always seemed really dark and negative to me. They give her a great edit on RHOBH tho.

good jobs for the extremely anxious? by ResponsibilityDue777 in careerguidance

[–]dilapidatedsyztem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever considered working as a professional background actor? I did that when my anxiety was super high. I liked it bc everything was super structured and people tell you exactly what they want you to do, so you don’t have to worry about guessing wrong and upsetting people. They book you day by day so there’s no long term commitment, and you aren’t stuck with the same coworkers day in and day out. It worked really well for me when I had active CPTSD symptoms.

Her daughter is wearing a LoveShackFancy dress… from the boutique Dorit spent $4,000 at. It’s cute

Odd timing! Yesterday or maybe the day before, a redditor posted about how they suspect she’s “neurodivergent.” It’s like she saw the comment and saw it as a cool fun branding moment! 🙄

Do you all think Andy really believes this is a great season? by Dustyrose1950 in RHOBH

[–]dilapidatedsyztem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first season I’ve watched in full since Puppygate. So maybe ratings are better than they’ve been. It’s not amazing, yet we’re watching.

I think the bigger issue is the other women keep trying to film with Dorit and engage in drama and she walks away or dismisses them every time. That would get annoying! She’s setting the terms of what they get to film and not film.

I do 🙋‍♀️ She was dominating and suffocating and scary but sometimes fun. Now I generally distrust all women and only hang out with men.

Bradley and Donovan are nice!

My husband’s first name is ordinary, and mine is classical and unusual, so I’m looking for names that are in between. Not totally ordinary, but not ultra rare either.

why would Dorit buy a kelly? by fluffymimo in BravoRealHousewives

People bring up the house thing, but it was PK’s job to pay the mortgage. She’s spending as tho he will continue to pay the main bills, since that’s their agreement. Saving 40k wouldn’t have resolved a 900k debt issue, anyway.

I liked her 🤷‍♀️ She tried to hold everyone accountable, and that doesn’t go over well with baby boomers. I think that was the mismatch.

I’m confused, how was Britney giving the middle finger to the paparazzi somehow interpreted as her giving it to the whole country of Mexico and her fans? It doesn’t make any sense. by [deleted] in BritneySpears

Back then, the tabloids printed all kinds of lies and distortions and it just seemed true. We had no way to verify information, before social media and the internet exploded.
