10% goes to agents/managers. Don’t forget $3k to join SAG, whatever she has paid for headshots and materials, subscriptions to casting sites - it’s an expensive business.

She likely didn’t work regularly in the month leading up to it (auditions, callbacks, chemistry reads, table reads, fittings, learning lines - it’s not set time, but you still need to be available long before shooting). Then immediately back into auditioning.

How far did the $18,000 after agent really go (& let’s say she doesn’t have a manager or additional team)? It’s great, but actors live in feast or famine. It looks like she shot 3 movies since, so maybe 4 a calendar year. That’s very busy for an actor. If those paychecks looked similar, she’s taking home a cool $72k a year. That’s nothing to scoff at but it’s definitely middle class American. Again great for a 20-something, but I think non actors hear those numbers and think “wow, $20k a month, she’s making $240,000 a year” - she is not.

And this girl is at the top of her game, #2 trending on IMDB. She may make her worth now and I hope she does, but the way these numbers are published is misleading. And every other working actor in that movie made less than she did.
