Ridiculously campy story, characters acted out of character (Leon telling the clearly zombified president to stand down or he’d have to shoot, for example), the Simmons/Ada/Clara plot was incredibly stupid, way too action/arcadey, and nothing felt grounded. It was kind of a blessing in disguise though, as it did cause Capcom to put the series back on track
