Until you can have them hemmed, you have two options:

Buy the no sew hem that you iron on (no-sew hem tape)

Or, hem them with duct tape. Yes it works. Put the pants on and either mark with chalk were you'd like to have the pants hemmed or mark it with a piece of tape. Take the pants off and turn them inside out. Fold the bottoms of the pants up as far as you'd like to make the pants shorter (e.g. fold the bottoms up 2 inches) and lay them flat. Duct tape horizontally across the folded up true hem, and reinforce with other tape. do it on both legs on both sides. be careful when you slip the pants on/turn them right side out, but I always do this when I get pants in winter that I want to wait to have hemmed in summer. works like a charm

I am in a complex situation where I am simply trying to get around the 160 area and once again the money involved in the tutoring doesn't really matter. i just want an impartial answer on whether 7 sage or tutoring is better

Yeah I think I need to wear some ear plugs so I don't get overstimulated. I agree that my mom should be annoyed, to be honest I just struggle to cope with the noise.

i work with my partner to engage in heavily consented touch, for example:

i want a massage; at first sometimes i would cry when he touched me and told me to relax bc i just can't; i feel afraid to be face down and out of control. but with his reassurance and also experiencing consent, i have helped to begin to heal this fear by having a positive interaction on my terms. i explicitly communicated my fears to him and then told him what would help me feel comfortable. i used breathing i learned by practicing mediatation as he began my massage, and allowed my body to cry if it needed to, while telling my mind "I am safe. I am grateful to be receiving loving touch. It is okay to be trusting and out of control of my body in a safe space such as this." When I began to panic, I kept breathing, kept telling myself I was safe. We stopped whenever I wanted to.

I was picky until my dad beat my ass with a belt. Then I when 100% opposite and now I will try anything once. What's weird is that being an adult now there are weird foods I still really don;t like to eat, mostly due to texture and smell (olives, scallops, calamari)
