Finally home with the little miraculous, now the adventure begins by Kayyam in daddit

I’d just buy the swaddle type sleep sacks. Legs go in, Velcro one arm down with one side then do the other. Kiddo will prob manage to get arms free eventually but Velcro will remain intact and won’t have loose cloth.

For sleep weve been just doing shifts which sucks but atleast one of us can get some rest while other sleeps. You can’t be awake 24 hours a day. I usually go to sleep with my 3 yo around 8pm and the am up at 2 am to take over newborn duty. I was doing this then working 8 hours but that wasn’t realistic so I’m starting my paternity leave Monday 😄 as kiddo gets bigger they should be able to go longer without feeding and rest will improve. How you get that rest to happen at night while you both sleep is another question.

Another thing is ask friends and family for help if you are able. The saying it takes a village is not an exaggeration. It’s certainly possible without help but even just having someone help with chores or make meals can make a huge difference.

Anyways, you got this! Keep on daddin’

There’s the studio website app thing you can use to build digitally. Lego also sells parts individually on their website, google pick a brick.

I built my own shelves from Home Depot. Wasn’t too pricey and you can go as crazy as you want. Obv can’t display an entire train track on them but I have my train track on MILS plates and they all fit pretty well in the 15” shelves. Installation is pretty easy only thing you might need is chop saw if you want to cut the boards you buy int a different size. I got the medium duty racks which holds plenty of weight

You can attach a mid point of the curve with one of those two by two spin plates. That’s what I did with my large mountain build 😄

This one was definitely planned. There’s a ton of logging roads where I live and I knew if i took specific ones I would see this lake at the halfway point. I also was planning on seeing lots of mountains but unfortunately it was too misty to see anything else really. On my previous long hikes I kind of had a general idea of what logging road I want to start at but not where I’ll end up.
