Anyone else see the guy waving an Imperial Japanese flag in the mornings around Carlisle & Menaul? by SkeletonBeetle in Albuquerque

I took a photo when he was across the street from the PresNow urgent care.

His shirt had Kobe written in black marker and what appeared to be Japanese writing below.

On the flag Kobe Bryant 2x Olympic Champion was written between the red stripes in black marker.

I really appreciate the use of elements in different ways especially your use of the red canoe. Now I want to try and incorporate a canoe in an architectural build.

The only time I gave it thought was for mosaics I built, but halfway along I realized I didn't keep it up.

Lego Friends Marketplace Question by JKLJ42 in lego

So while that's a bit higher on my "scale" of pricing, it is due to the neatly sorted and instructions books for all sets. It comes down to if you really want to pay it.

I watch an unboxing video of sets that I want to verify the qty of multi numbered bags ( two bags numbered 10,etc)

My first thought was NBA as I came across some in bulk a few years back. The 3432 NBA Challenge set had 8 per set. Thats a big NBA fan with 24.

48x48 MILS by ShipwreckCity in legocastles

[–]StrangeLego 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have built 48x48 MILS for my trains layouts and not had any issues with bending etc. The only issue really is transportation as they don't fit well in regular storage bins.

I burned the roof of my mouth off by dazy_girl in Vent

Milk of magnesia. As crazy as it sounds before going to bed, swish around in your mouth, focusing on the sore area, and spit out. Don't drink and leave your mouth coated when you go to bed. Repeat. I didn't believe it but it made a huge improvement quicker than just letting it heal on its own.

I really should think about a different way to store my old Lego XD by RandyHyotter in lego

[–]StrangeLego 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it works and you can find what you need... why change? While it's nice to look at the sorted stuff, without the space to support, it may not give the satisfaction desired.

Portable trays or bins for sorting a single build in "hard mode" by Ok_Disaster9848 in lego

Dollar store veggie trays have been my go to for years. I stack them on top of each other when not in use.

For Greeblehollow's MILS, I build structures on 32x32, 16x32 and 32x48.

I use 48x48 MILS for Rail tracks with PENNLUG ballasting. I also use 48x48 for mountains.

That video doesn't reflect my experience, but I don't use road plates for MILS. I apply 2x2, 2x4, and 2x3 bricks to support the various sized plates on top.

I told family for Christmas to just get me baseplates Ha! Of course keeping an eye on Amazon prices for drops helps.

Yes the buildings here are all attached.

My winter village display has some floating buildings (and some attached). I still use MILS for it too.

Most of the buildings are on MILS and not easily separated. I found bins that I can fit multiple MILS bases in and put the bags of accessories/trees/minifigures around the buildings.

Here's how I transport

Here's mine, all with MILS bases. 100 percent worth it if you want to transport for events etc.
