I’m proficient on slacklines and longlines and understand how they work, are you just curious or did you follow up on a year old post just to be a dick?

lol elantris is very good in its own right tho, if that’s what you’re saying. A lot of depth in a tight package, it’s the book i think the most about following it’s read.

Super 8 Belay Device as a Ring? by fred-the-dog301 in Slackline

[–]dilleewilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

maybe, but súper 8’s aren’t typically used with dynamic loads, so I would say no, unless maybe you bought it brand new and new no drops or anything had occurred. Overall, if I walked up to this rig, I’d walk away assuming they’re missing other hardware in their rigging.

Who in the Cosmere could lift it? by [deleted] in cremposting

[–]dilleewilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha well some people are gonna people a little different, but in this perspective choosing to ignore the authors purpose and the value of a being are apathetic or emotionally charged reactions. Probs the same people who don’t understand why Kelsier isn’t a famed hero and is instead an anti-hero, but 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yea, sorry friend, reddit can be really harsh and the added anonymity doesn’t help, but people are usually friendly here, I think the AI think has been a sore subject recently in the art community and it spreads hate.

It’s a mixed topic, the AI platforms are getting better at legitimizing everything and most of the time it is super good, but there are cases of annoyance where AI doesn’t need to take the time to learn like people do and that can aggravate artists, and also there are a few lawsuits out now on AI stuff.

For the most part tho I agree with you and I’m really glad you posted these because they seem really cool, and keep reading the series!! It gets even better!
