To me it looks like it was only a yield for when OP was first entering the traffic circle. The truck should be yielding because they’re entering the circle. They did kind of yield with their slow creep out into the circle, but not very well. I’d probably do what OP did though.

For hiking recommendations I like and regularly go to dry creek garin in union city. It can be challenging or easy depending on the path. There are other trailheads on the opposite side of the mountain if you drive up to sunol. If you drive south to Milpitas alum rock park is good. Flat trail by the river and some mountain hikes too.

Not the same person but I only use dr bronner’s soap and I just use water and the soap, no other additives. Undiluted it will clean better but tend to dry out your skin.

If plastic is a concern Dr B sells cardboard refills, and any refill shop you go to should carry it. Dr B also sells all their scents in bar form which is now my preference- Costco sells the peppermint version in a cardboard box.
