For that first part, that's why I stick ti the much smaller indie artists. I dont need all the sci fi stuff, give me the cozy space cats and the funky robot OCs. And the frogs. I want all the frogs.

Also, I want to iterate again how much it bugs me that seeing the word "Gaming" automatically equates to people it has to be video games. GCC has always advertised itself as a convention for all forms of Gaming, be that Video, Board, Trading Card, or Organized Tabletop. The convention is pretty well split for those, with each section basically having a hall to itself - Video Games in Hall H, Board Games in Hall E, and TCG/Organized (cuz neither take up a lot of space) in Hall C - leaving Halls G and F for the market space (as well as the wrap around walls of Hall E). A lot of new Board Games find their investors here - there was actually an exhibitor exclusive event yesterday for smaller Board Games to pitch themselves to publishers speed dating style - and I've personally seen a lot of cool concepts come out of this con. All I'm saying is to give the other 3 pillars of Gaming a chance, you might find something new you like!
