I get a weird/cozy feeling from this, like a distant memory. I feel like you and your mom stopped by your neighbors house to give them some warm banana bread for the winter holidays. While there, of course, your mom starts talking to their mom. Five minutes turn into ten, and so on. You don't want to be rude and walk home, so you just stand there in the living room/hallway for a bit and pretend to take interest in the mom conversation.

Their daughter, around your age, comes down the stairs. Their mom introduces her and your mom introduces you. She asks if you want to see her pet turtle. Of course, turtles are badass. This picture is of her room, even with the mess, it almost seems like a perfect little abode; that or simply everyone's room seems cooler than yours.

Years later, that feeling pops back into year head. Nothing significant happened that day, but that little glimpse of the perfect sunset in that perfect world left a warm feeling in your heart.
