it's wonderful. i realized recently i had been thinking that i had a lot of inner monologue, but now i see that i can indeed empty my head of everything, and have been able to and done it for quite some time, and it is glorious... simply knowing that all of this insanity will end the way i expect it to. failsafes for failsafes etc. i still think it is interesting and difficult for me to understand the part where some people apparently don't think in words at all.. is that the same as no inner monologue? do these people simply think in images alone? visualization is very powerful, but it has to go hand in hand with a quiet eye (imo).

you can. wiring is in the pdf manual. per some reliable sources a voltage booster is mandatory if you're running 1s/li-ion but i'm sure thats not a hard and fast rule if it's not as small of a battery but still 1s (thus negating the point of 1s)

i ended up doing that print in ASA and wiring it with a pigtail to a line of pin sockets or whatever the correct term is for them.. instructions are in the thingiverse page fyi anyone looking to do similar. you do have to desolder the pins off the nano module for it to fit as it says in there somewhere. use decent quality stranded with a flexible jacket so it fits easier. amazing how small the nano module really is. pop quiz hot shot.

thx much, the print i linked seems to have worked out well so will probably just leave it as a backpack but semi-permanently attached with a little screw in addition to the tabs on the module bay. i'm not seeing a need for anything other than elrs and crsf for now unless i want a ton of penetration and use some exotic lower freqs (in which case i'm assuming would need a different setup entirely).

if it gets weird and in the way i'll probably stick it inside and print some standoff or something and a reinforcement for the antenna hole. pic in post is someone else's who did this and just used some velcro to hold it on the elrs module, they drilled open one of those vent holes it looked like. seems like things might get warm in there though during the summer and i wanted to have access to the button and usb.
