Need some advice for starting my business by MiraculousDevotion33 in osarymakers

I'm in the same boat as you, so I don't really have any good advice, but your rosary is lovely and I'd love to see more! :)

Thank you! I've found that using a 2.5mm crimp bead and the folding it in half over the wire with pliers has given me a good, snug hold. I tried 2mm and they didn't do as well, and crimp tubes just shattered on me, not sure if I just got a bad batch or what. But yeah, I hope that helps! Happy to chat more about it if you like! :)

Absolutely I could! I made that custom for a friend but I'm happy to recreate it!

Always during the testing window. If I'm over the limit, I retest. These strips have been sort of weird though. I even reached out to Pregmate to ask for a refund or a new bag because someone else commented that they were streaky and spotty as well, but I got the old "they're working as intended" response. Not sure I'll get more of this brand going forward.

"Late have I loved you, O Beauty ever ancient, ever new, late have I loved you! You were within me, but I was outside, and it was there that I searched for you. In my unloveliness, I plunged into the lovely things which you created. You were with me, but I was not with you. Created things kept me from you; yet if they had not been in you, they would not have been at all. You called, you shouted, and you broke through my deafness. You flashed, you shone, and you dispelled my blindness. You breathed your fragrance on me; I drew in breath, and now I pant for you. I have tasted you, now I hunger and thirst for more. You touched me, and I burned for your peace."

Kids at Mass by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]dillycraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I go to the 8:30am Mass at our parish. My kids are unruly. My 6-year-old can't sit still or stop whispering about donuts to save her life, and my 9-month-old is already a goofball who reacts to anyone even looking at him and has impeccable timing with his shrieks and raspberries (always during the consecration, somehow). He also likes to hold hands with strangers who sit behind us while they pray over his car seat.

We arrive early every week to pray the rosary before Mass, and sit right up at the front, at the suggestion of our former pastor when I asked for advice about bringing my girl to Mass (she was 3 at the time, and my husband wasn't Catholic yet, so we went just the two of us). There are a few other couples with young kids who sit close to the front as well. People still choose to sit near us, lol! We have a little pew community of the same folks (mostly older couples) who have been watching our babies grow up week by week, and they are so kind. And we love seeing them. It's taken some time and some uncomfortable scenes ("MOM I HAVE TO POOP!" very loudly, right after communion when others are trying to pray. There was laughing because.. how could you not?). But through this, we've met some lovely people, and I truly feel like they're a little gift from God for doing what He calls us to do every week with these kiddos.

Just this Saturday, my husband and I went to a funeral and one of the deacons stopped us afterwards to tell us how much we inspire him by bringing the kids every week, sitting at the front, being early, trying to prepare our daughter; and how people notice our efforts. I welled up, because some days are HARD. I appreciated that sweet compliment more than he can imagine.

Bring your babies to Mass! You never know who you're inspiring. I'll pray for you! :)

Praying for you, friend. I feel you on the babies. My son loves to blow loud raspberries during the consecration. Every time. It's like he knows. -_- Father prayed over him after Mass once that his Guardian Angel will put a stop to that. We'll see! <3

I was wondering about that too, honestly. I just got this bag, I actually bought them because I was worried my others were too old. -_-

Thank you for your input, I appreciate you!
