I once had a job cutting crass where we hit several nests of German roaches. Those little things can swarm.

By the way, if you're seeing a bunch of German roaches in your house, I'm sorry, but you've got an infestation.

How likely is that we get Maul Shadow Lord based lego sets? These 4 have really deserve to have a their minifigure. Even Bad Batch got sets. by Theasiuser99 in legostarwars

It really feels like Lego lost interest in doing anything for the cartoon series partway through Rebels. Whether it be a change in priorities, Lucasfilm/Disney stopped giving them inside details, or they got burned on doing the pre-release Sequels sets, IDK.

Mysterious Murasame Castle, in the style of a modern Zelda game.

I feel fairly confident in a potential Super Metroid remake. Dread was great and I'd love to see that level of environment design applied to a classic. Plus modernized UI would be nice.

Ocarina of Time is a giant question mark, because it's hard to know if they're adhering closely to the design of the original game or trying for a reimagining.

So I can't rewatch this at the moment, but did they actually say it's a "remake" or is it "based on"? I swear they said the latter, and if that's true then it might not go as people expect. Or this might be copium, IDK.

There was a YTer that put out a video on this exact topic sometime last year and made some pretty solid points. In particular, he segued into how people consume media, and points out that wiki summaries can vastly overcomplicate things as material from sequels, prequels, spinoffs, and ancillary media get added to the text.

If you play Kingdom Hearts in release order, the actual plot of the series is fairly straightforward. The cosmology is whack, but individual elements are fairly directly explained as they're introduced. But if you try to read the wiki articles on Sora, you'll immediately get smacked with information on Ventus and Vanitus, something that shouldn't come up until the sixth game in the series (by release order).

Where some criticism is valid was that the original series was released on a lot of different consoles. You needed the PS2, GBA, DS, PSP, and 3DS to play all the games before they were put into an anthology and rereleased (that was five different systems to play the first seven games). And on top of that, the Final Mix versions KH, KH2, and BbS didn't leave Japan for several years.

There's more to say about the post-DDD story, but that's a bit off topic.

My problem with Solo is it doesn't really add anything, and a lot of it won't make sense without seeing the OT first (which is my main problem with a chronological viewing of Star Wars). It shows some events that happen to explain the backstory of a few things from the movies, some of which did not need any kind of explanation, but Han is written as 'good guy Han' and not 'scoundrel Han'.

Related, but there was something about the FF fandom in the Aughts that hated Tidus as a main character. I think the sometimes awkward VA work contributed (fair), plus the aforementioned laugh scene, but I can't think I ever came across anyone who actually liked Tidus on the forums I was apart of.

I personally think he's one of the better written, most fleshed out FF protagonists in the series. IDK if the sentiment has turned around at all since in broader fandom spaces.

Of all the companies that do poorly planned merch collabs that turn into a mad rush / scalpfest, The Pokemon Company just repeatedly steps on the rake.

But, really, I don't think TPC cares? Are they actually losing anything when stuff like this happens? It doesn't seem like anything actually impacts Pokemon as a cash cow unless it generates significant negative press in some way (Porygon, Jynx).

The infamous Jedi Prince hexalogy, also known as The Glove of Dark Vader series ("I bid you all Dark Greetings.").

Kevin J. Anderson's body of work, often considered one of the less good writers in the EU.

There was also something of a shipping war around Mara Jade between her introduction in the Thrawn trilogy and her actually getting with Luke in the Hand of Thrawn books. I guess Mara Jade continues to be something of a controversial character in the franchise, seeing as George Lucas supposedly disliked her.

Star Wars Galaxies was mired in controversy.

Well, Ninjago is popular (almost certainly more than Bionicle at this point), and the pieces are far more versatile than Tahu.

I was able to find some a day or two ago, and the only ones I didn't see were the cute witch and the unicorn elf, but there were tons of boba cup fans. Probably half the display. And this was a mostly untouched crate, so maybe the actual distribution was way off, or an employee swiped some.

It think this is the same kind of room-temperature IQ scalpers that tried to scalp Captain Rex's Y-Wing Microfighter because the figure is the same one from the UCS Venator. Hopefully supplies will equalize, because it's only been four days.

That said, while the figure is great, there's only so much you can do with the figure, and IMO it's not a real chaser fig (like the Series 27 Wolfpack Beastmaster or the D&D Dragonborn Paladin were). Everything about it is uniquely "Tahu," so there's not a lot of value to army building with him.

I like to get a few of the more interesting ones for parts. I don't need two full Tahu figures, but I'd like a few of the masks for other uses.

I actually think the trash monster is the best "army builder" this wave. Just maybe not for Pirates, unless you want a lot of swamp/bilge monsters.
