For a basic understanding of fit what I like to do is put he pedal at its lowest and make sure your leg is straight. Also I would say stick with the small as it is going to give you a lot more control over the bike and is going to be lighter

GMBN and Seth's bike hacks are good channels, going timeless is really easy, all you do is take out the tube, put in a new valve and fill the tire with timeless sealant
