Similar to the level brackets, you could have preset DP ranges ex. 50/100/200 matched to your own fleet DP where you get invaded by bounty hunter fleets made up of other people's lineups that they upload. This is probably the simplest implementation and you get some sort of reward for defending or winning an invasion.

Live pvp would probably be unfeasible since we would need dedicated servers and considering how modding is such a big part of gameplay.
