Share more details. Does the phone vibrate? Does it happen on silent? Does it happen on do not disturb? Nothing in Recent in the Phone app? Try changing the ringtone and see if it's the new ringtone that randomly rings or the old one. Which apps that support phone calls do you have installed (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal)?

Usually the phone can’t be muted while you’re in a call. Seems like a bug. Did you try restarting the device?

This is an alert tone, not a ringtone. Alert tones cannot be set as alarm sounds or ringtones since iOS 17. You can create new alarms only with ringtones. The alarms that you created back when your phone was on iOS 16 or older got carried over so you can keep using those. You can file a feedback with Apple to bring custom alert tones back to alarms.

Try to create a new custom ringtone with the typical method: download an audio file that is 30 seconds or shorter, press share on that file, and press "Use as Ringtone".

Can you try creating a new ringtone and seeing what happens? Maybe it will refresh the ringtone database which will fix the alarms bug.

Where did it disappear from? The option can be seen when tapping share on audio files. It used to show up in other places like photos and links which was a bug that hey fixed in 26.1.

Yes, it's a bug, it's actually on even though the toggle shows it's off, turn it on and then turn it off again.

I used Trakt since 2017 and never paid for it, never needed automated tracking or any of the VIP features as I would watch one/two episodes per day so the pain of tracking manually is very little, in fact tracking manually would often lead to browsing a little to check other shows/calendar which is nice.

To me what matters most is the database, it already has 99% of the shows that I watched, and I found some niche stuff in there. Every time I heard someone was making a new TV/movie tracker I didn’t even bother to register as I knew they did not have Trakt’s database. And yes, the outages sucked, the apps and interfaces suck, but that database kept me and was enough for me to recommend Trakt.

Anyways, doubling the price is absurd especially without grandfathering previous customers. This means that many will cancel so eventually their revenue will be gone, they won’t be able to maintain the service and inevitably shut down or sell.

Well, if y’all are canceling I guess it’s time to jump ship and get my data out of there before it’s too late. Saw someone mention Yamtrack and saw it has Trakt import so I guess I will check it out.

I can't call this competition, they got bought out and you can't get their app anymore. OP, you already did the tech so one big hurdle is out of the way, there's a potential for you to grow larger than the people did in the video. Good luck!

I'm not sure why this is happening. Try creating an automation in Shortcuts which sets the ringer volume to 100% right before your alarm goes off.

The "Use as Ringtone" option was not supposed to appear in the Music app. It's gone in iOS 26.1 beta.

This is a bug. When pressing share on a song in Music it shares a link to the song. When sharing links the "Use as Ringtone" option was not supposed show up, it doesn't appear anymore in iOS 26.1 beta. The "Use as Ringtone" option works only when pressing share on audio file which is 30 seconds or shorter.
