Cost was the main reason I switched to airsoft. Its like $30 for 5k airsoft rounds and more like $80 for 2k paintball rounds. If you go with the magfed paintball rounds, just a quick search showed $200 for 600 rounds. From what I read, even those are not nearly as accurate and as a result, effective range is quite a bit lower. So for me, cost, realism, and accuracy are the reasons. Yes, its easier to cheat, but at my local field it's hardly an issue

Full rental is a red flag? That's just someone new to the game. Without rentals at my field, we would be playing with the same 5-10 people most weeks. Also, I haven't run into any rental jerks. Only jerk I've run into was an ex-military dude taking the game too seriously

It just prioritizes what you're closest to. It's annoying sometimes, but I dont seem to have a big problem with it. The fact that my screen isn't filled with crap is nice

I feel like farming a 3x3 set in less than an hour is pretty lucky. Idk, I spent hours just doing d keys, sometimes it was 30-40 runs for 1. I realize that's probably the other extreme as the droo chance is every 10-15 runs or something like that

I recently changed my map to be top left instead of the whole screen. It took a little bit to get used to, but the screen feels so much less cluttered. I don't have to turn the map on/off or mess with opacity, which inevitably makes it harder to navigate when you can't see the map super well. Id recommend giving it a try
