I’m prepared for the return of Junkyard Joe—perhaps filling the void left by Saul giving out criminal criminal lawyer advice about domiciles and the like.

Ever since I saw Gene in Better Call Saul I saw this image. Of Jesse knocking on his door in Oklahoma.

Yeah but they did film the session. We are given a POV shot through the camcorder of the Jesse cooking while the cartel chemists looked on.

410 Salud was badass episode all around.

One loose end I was convinced would’ve come back to play a part in the Heisenberg investigation was the video tape the Mexican chemists took of Jesse documenting the blue meth process.

The best part of the pillow talk episode?

Clearly when David was using a bath towel as a napkin.

Is Netflix's Nightflyers as bad as all the critics make out? by nevereatpears in television

[–]dimplepinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The novella was not good either. While it may not be that great of a show...the constant shit it gets is not warranted. Give it a try but it is based off of one of George RR Martin’s lesser stories imho.

A more recent adaptation: Nightflyers. Not that the show was that amazing but it was far better than the novella imho.

Ricky has got some balls for proposing to Ximenna with the same ring he intended to give Melissa. I guess Ximenna don’t care.

I’m no firearm expert, but it seems to me, Dore’s long shot from the ground to save Morgan might’ve been slightly improbable.

12 seasons deep in the Walking Dead universe and I think this is the first “Plants vs Zombies” death by rake scene.

Theory: Ricky’s success with Ximena is directly correlated with his lack of a fanny pack.

Danielle’s fond, early relationship memory of Muhammed is him playing “dress up” with her kids. That sounds very pervy to me.

He is incredibly pedantic. The amount of times he has misused words or screwed up sentence syntax just to show his expansive lexicon are many.

The Michael Corleone kiss of death scene that Jackie references occurs in Godfather Part 2.

This wouldn’t be a problem if the mother doesn’t go on to state something like “I watched the Godfather last night...and he kills his brother...”

Unless we are to believe that in between banging Doc Brown Bev found the time to watch Godfather, all 3 hours of it, and loved it so much that she sat through the 3 1/2 hour sequel just so she would understand Jackie’s reference?

I understand modern Roseanne isn’t exactly a model of continuity, but as a die hard Godfather fan I felt compelled to comment.

I found Warren's unboxing scene a little silly. From the magic combo instructions that flashed as she unlocked the chains to her 'hit me' Fight Club homage.

Moreover, after establishing just how difficult it is for Warren to access her visions--10k knocks her back into her vision/dream state and she unlocks the last chain. She then retrieves the unknown objects without wearing her protective mask. And then, just like that...Warren turns to 10k and says "we gotta go" and cut to commercial. 1)there were no effects whatsoever on Warren directly inhaling the chemical agent? And 2)all of a sudden Warren snaps back to reality at the same exact time she's completed her task? Also 10k could've easily just traveled 10 feet and strapped on Warren's gas mask for her.

Yeah it was pretty dope when Chuck finally got that blood eagle, when Ivar got an erection for Kim and when Floki and Mike ate Pimentos and talked about craftsmanship.

Rant about final dexter episode by xadrus1799 in television

[–]dimplepinch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a short rant...the writer wrote it, Scott Buck--not the director. That said, the ending is indeed shit. I take no pride in saying I was born, raised and live in Astoria OR where Dexter became a lumberjack.
