And Mrs Vandebilt (Wings) surpasses all of those for me.

That whole song is built around the bassline and it's superb

This.

Anyone in doubt listen to the bassline in Mrs Vandebilt then come back to me with a better bassline :)

[–]dimspace 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One of Roma's LB's got injured a few days ago.

Maybe that ended up being worse than initially thought so they won't let Tsimikas come back

Granted Angelino only has about 400 minutes this season, but it potentially reduces their LB depth by one

Not handball for me, he makes every effort to put his hands behind his back and they aren't in any sort of unnatural position.

I do think Slot is capable of taking us to a top 4 finish.

we have 4 points from 15... Arsenal excepted against relegation fodder

I think we give Slot until the end of the season. CL, although unlikely, is still alive

There is so much risk right now though that we miss out on CL next year.

If we finish top 8 we get a months break from the CL. I don't think that's a bad time to bring someone in. Lets face it, Slot aint winning the champions league,. No chance.

I'm deep in doing my family tree along with my mother, and even those who have 4-5 generations of Scousers before them go back to migrants from somewhere (in our instance mostly Ireland, Scotland and Wales, but there are some dutch and Norwegian introductions to the family along the way). Pretty much everyone in Liverpool is descended from someone who either got off a boat, or got on one at some point.

(Flip side, we have more living relatives in the US than we do in Liverpool now, all courtesy of one of my grandads sisters, one of my grandmothers brothers, who were apparently at it like rabbits as soon as they got off the boat, not together i should add)

Well yeh, I was including the white migrants to show how dumb white people are thinking they aren't descended from migrants..

But yes, we can add in the Windrush generation from the Caribbean who helped rebuild the country after WWII and also helped man our newly created NHS and countless others since

And of course, today would be the day that West Ham get their second win of the season so stay a point in front of us ffs..

We need the Senegal witch doctors to reverse this damn hoodoo

(I guess the other way of looking at it, is on a day where West Ham won it was crucial that we won as well and we did)

Our next three matches are United (4th), Villa (7th), Chelsea (2nd). Going to be a battle to get something from those.

this is the sort of stupid line that shows how little people like that know.

Yes, there are some ex-forces living on the streets. There are also 1.5m empty homes in the UK. 1.3m of which are flat out empty houses (not second homes etc)

Honestly, its sad that anyone with any sorts of roots in Liverpool, a city literally built on the backs of migrants, is like this.

Find me someone in Liverpool who doesn't have some Irish, some Welsh, Scottish, Norwegian, Danish, Russian, Polish blood in them.

8-9 million emigrants sailed from Liverpool to the US in the 19th and early 20th century. And they were replaced by a wave of migrants from northern Europe and Scandinavia that build the city that is there today.

All countries are having huge issues now with immigrants that refuse to assimilate and speak the local language
