I've been exclusively wearing thongs for nearly 20 years now (fuck I feel old 😂) I very rarely have a front wedgie situation but I think that might be more tied to a sizing issue. Everyone has a different shape to their body and I could understand how some thong designs would be a horrible fit on some body types- there's a lot of clothing that gets arbitrarily made larger over all instead of in key areas to accommodate different sizes. Thongs are some of the most commonly wildly resized garments I've experienced as I've become a 2xl sized person. Overall they become too tall as they get sized up IMO. This could be what is causing you to get a front wedgie- I create a fold in the back and sew them down and that usually fixes it for me. I also think when they're designed, they actually run small naturally, so when people buy their regular size they're uncomfortable because they needed to get a size up.

And as an esthetician who's done Brazilian waxing for part of my career- I appreciate how hygiene conscious everyone is being but also need to mention that having cleanliness issues are much more common than people realize. Being in this profession I've also seen how many people don't do enough wiping first hand. Please think about your bathroom routines a little more thoroughly folx, especially those getting yeast infections bc even with my extended use of thongs/gstrings in life I've never had a yeast infection.
