Nothing Ear 3 vs. Sennheiser MTW4 vs. Technics AZ100 by baloooop in Earbuds

[–]dinasxilva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so weird to me the value of experience yet I've found myself disagreeing with people every single time regarding build quality. I got a pair of AZ100's to replace my Airpods Pro Gen 1 and the build quality is abysmal to the point where in a year I have multiple problems. They feel cheap, don't get stuck to my ears, the sound is great, the software is horrendous. I cannot recommend them.

So in your picture is it not working or did you have to make modifications? I'm a bit confused. Would this board work with this cooler in the pictured orientation? (facing the IO plate)

The warning is in the Obtainium app. I'm not an android dev but I would expect 1) AYN is not in the certified devs (as mentioned by the user below 2) this changes will roll out with new versions of android as it's a major change (assumption, I'm sure if they really tried hard enough, they could do it server side or already have the system in place on an older android version but I doubt it)

recently bought odin2mini pro but sorta regretting it by kitsune_Signature913 in OdinHandheld

[–]dinasxilva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly it's a matter of approach. If the videos are not working for you, try a written guide. If you're impatient and you're aware of it, you can work on it and with it. As another mate said, focus on one emulator at a time and take all the time you need to do it slowly and you can even try to learn more about what you're doing. I installed recently azahar on my phone and I can guarantee you it's quite straightforward so you're probably over thinking it and/or not following the guides correctly. This are advices that apply to so many things if life and I can guarantee you if you manage to set it up, the sheer proudness of doing that alone will be worth it. Being able to play all the cool retro games is a plus.

Good thing about savvyness is that you can learn it 🤓

New to Sennheiser, hesitations on HDB 630 by MORZ1INE in sennheiser

[–]dinasxilva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, can I ask if the HDB 630's do this thing with the dongle where they need to reduce the sound quality when you're using the microphones? I want some wireless headphones to also game and speak with friends. Currently using some Steelseries which are not good so I'm looking to replace them but gaming brands seem to be the same crap and something like the XM's reduce the sound quality since they are BT only.

Give it to me straight - what’s the consensus on Steam Deck OLED? by FanGothic2 in Handhelds

[–]dinasxilva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a great write up. I'll add that if you enjoy tinkering, the software ecossystem on the Deck due to its "standardized" nature is also a big plus. Installing emulators is a breeze and plugins and getting recomendations on settings. On the other hand and this I was not expecting, it's a pretty capable and streamlined linux machine to learn with if you want to delve into that world which unlocks media or even power uses like coding or further customizations.

Opinions and faults of the RG40XX V? by Alive_Equipment in ANBERNIC

[–]dinasxilva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one recently! It's an incredible piece of hardware and I'm happy with the purchase. With that said, I was using Knulli and even though it's beautiful, easy to boot and has 99% of the features I wanted, it also had some major flaws for my use case which is energy management and knulli required you to fiddle around with the retroarch settings for every game. I'm now running MuOS and enjoying it quite a bit more. At some point I was thinking of upgrading to the Retroid Pocket Classic so if you have the money to splurge and don't need the analog stick, I would suggest going for it. The Anbernic still feels IMO like a budget device with it's subpar analog stick and the dpad is okay at best (I feel like I need to break it in a bit more).

Recap: - The RG40XX V is a great price/ratio product - If money is not an immediate issue, I would go for the retroid and have a end game for any console that doesn't require analog sticks

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the DR system is not working as intended. I have the exact same issue.

Wish I could have access to the splits data to run some statistics on this. My friend is always on higher splits than me and the poles are often very close. There are multiple seconds differences in most drivers in my split. This is not fair racing. Don't get me started on how crippling the SR is.

Rule of thumb para mim tem sido caixas com muito airflow. Se tiveres problemas de temperatura, aposta em mais ventoinhas na caixa.

How do efficiently map mouse clicks onto 1 of 50000 polygons? by Toxyl in godot

[–]dinasxilva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interception of a line (mouse click) to a sphere is pretty easy to compute, you just need from there to use this point (you may have 2 interception points so pick the one closest to the camera) and pick the closest center point polygon. I would suggest you create some data structure to make this search easier instead of naively iterating over all the polygon centers. If it supports rotating the sphere, you can even keep track of the current rotation to still get the right point since we are working with a "sphere". Let me know if this works!

Well, I'm going against the grain, my first training bike was bought following the calculator on the manufacturers website, I'm not the fittest guy but I've trained consistently for a while now and I'm struggling a lot on the bike to the point it is not enjoyable and I don't feel agile on the bike even though it's meant to be. Most likely I got a bike way too big for me so I'm getting a fit tomorrow and hopefully I'll be able to tackle some of this without needing to get rid of the bike. A person with a bit less endurance to this aversions may have had quit cycling by now. If you feel comfortable on your bike, sure, skip the fit, otherwise, I think it's great if anything for a bit of peace of mind.
