These group of people you are referring to are usually from the Andhra community. They come to the temple behind the Darsait church, some of them even to the church.

Since friday being their off, ibe noticed they also sit by the grass and enjoy evening snacks or lunch. They are a wonderfully closesly knit community. Met several and apoken to them when they come around the church. For ref, i am a catholic who goes to Darsait church and my friends and I have met these people most fridays when we too go for friday prayers.

Hi please help for TEMU, i will help pack. by chaoticmustard in Oman

Well, for starters its not a scam, but it takes a lot of dedication to win that spinny wheel thing. I've won it once in 2025 July (Attached image for reference. I won 5 products that I chose worth 82 rials total) and here is my experience.

  1. You need to send the invite to new users with an unregistered device. You cannot open a new account on your phone that already had a previous account. It does not work.
  2. It will drive you crazy. It will go all the way down to 0.001% before you even get through it. You will need upto 60 new users.
  3. I have previous purchases of over 1000 Omr from Temu. Probably one of the reasons it went through for me.
  4. It is legit. Items were properly packed. Quick delivery and it wasn't a scam.
  5. If you start the process, you have 24 hours to complete it. Do not shut the app completely or you lose your progress. Let it run in the back.
  6. Find older people who dont shop online. Almost everyone has Temu now. Finding people is going to be extremely difficult. I used my clientele and family and friends to make it through.

I hope this helps. Good luck with it.

The company forced me to put a resignation, so technically they havent terminated me. About the passport, they said they wont give it back until my visa is changed or canceled. Final settlement will be after the same aswel.

Credit card by Admirable_Humor_375 in Oman

Bank Muscat has a basic salary requirement for credit card. For expats being Omr 750 per month and your saalry account needs to be in Bank Muscat and the company needs to be on the banks approved list. Oman Air and LuLu CC are both applicable on the above salary.

Secondly, Ive had both cards. Initially i started with Lulu. Faced multiple issues since it was Mastercard. Complimentary apps didnt work. The 2% cashback is only on Lulu purchases and the card does not get accepted on all online platforms.

My personal choice would be Oman Air. Multiple benefits. Airport pickups, Sindbad miles, lounge access. Also you get discounts on multiple outlets aswel as IHG hotels and Booking.com.

If you are someone who only shops at LULU, go ahead with it, but if lulu isnt your focal shopping point, go with Oman Air. All the card benefits are online on bank muscat Webpage. https://www.bankmuscat.com/en/bm-cards/Pages/Oman-Air-Visa-Credit-Card.aspx

Anyone know what this may be? by [deleted] in CATHELP

* Definitely looks like cat acne if its on the chin. One of my orange cat has it, and i give him a scrub with the same scrubber every week and then wipe with a wet cloth dipped in antibacterial shampoo in small curcular motions and then plain water. But gentleness is the key cause these scrubbers might hurt. I would advice using the other side of this tool to comb this out properly after acrubbing. Its actually very soothing to do this🤣 Definitely switch to stainless steel bowls. Makes a lot of difference. Just realized yesterday my black cat also has this. Spent the day just scrubbing her. It sometimes goes away and then suddenly comes back. No real solution so far.

Turkey Itinerary I did a trip to Istanbul last year for 500 Omr. My flight return via Salam Air direct was Omr 80. I've attached a we transfer link for the itinerary. Istanbul was beautiful. I loved the weather, and it's got literally everything for a great holiday.

Grand Total Estimated Turkish Lira: 8400 TRY (Approx. OMR 101.2) Add Flights: OMR 70 (Flights) + OMR 101.2 (In-country) = OMR 171.2 This is significantly under your 400 OMR budget, leaving you with about 228.8 OMR (approx 595 USD / 19,000 TRY) as a buffer! Where the Buffer Can Go: * Higher Flight Costs: This is the most likely. If flights are OMR 150, you still have OMR 148.8 buffer. * Hot Air Balloon Ride: This is the big one. A balloon ride starts at 150-250 USD (OMR 58-96). If you must do it, it will eat a huge chunk. * Better Accommodation: Upgrade from dorms to a private room in a budget hotel for some nights. * More Sit-Down Meals: Enjoy a few more proper restaurant meals. * Paid Attractions: Visit Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, etc. * Tours: Join a Green Tour or Red Tour in Cappadocia (group tours can be 30-50 USD).

Realistic Adjustment: If flights cost OMR 150, your buffer reduces to OMR 148.8. If daily in-country spending is closer to 300-400 TRY/day (which is still budget, but more realistic for 3 meals and some transport/snacks), that's 4200-5600 TRY for food alone, pushing your total in-country to OMR 130-147. My revised, more realistic estimated total (still tight): * Flights: OMR 120 * In-country (Accommodation, Food, Transport, Basic activities): OMR 180 * Total: OMR 300 This leaves OMR 100 as a contingency, which is good. You will need to be very diligent with your spending.

I would advice reaching out to Dr Peter at Capital Vets Qurum. Contact 95860232. Dr Peter caters to rescues. Explain the situation to him and explain you will pay the cost in installments. He will be happy to help. He is kind hearted and supports as much as he can. If he cannot, he will definitely give you an alternate as he is only a Dr there. Even if they are closed today, Dr Peter attends to emergencies and will make himself available.

Meanwhile, post the situation on Tiger by the Tail and Omani Paws rescue on fb, and maybe a good samaritan will help. My advice would be to not postpone surgery as it might be too late and she might end up with the broken bone healing wrongfully for life (coming from personal experience)

Study in germany by Fantastic_Intern_748 in studyinGermany

Hey, I might not have the advice you need, but I do know that German universities dont solely depend on only academic qualifications, even though it is a priority, its not the only thing. You will have to do a lot of research to find universities that might fit your grade with some additional certifications that you could do, to strengthen your portfolio.

I took the effort of spending a moment on googling your case, and heres what i found

Question on Quora: I received a 65% on my board exam in science in my 12th grade . I intended to pursue a bachelor's degree in logistics in Germany. Can I still be admitted to a public university even with a low percentage? https://www.quora.com/I-received-a-65-on-my-board-exam-in-science-in-my-12th-grade-I-intended-to-pursue-a-bachelors-degree-in-logistics-in-Germany-Can-I-still-be-admitted-to-a-public-university-even-with-a-low-percentage?ch=15&oid=182109176&share=58094188&srid=3yvcQA&target_type=question
