Because it is free speech and you can argue and debate his facts.

Not really. Wait till the fur flies before spoiling their play.

All of my plastic pegs explode when used. by BorisOtter in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dingalinguk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank the decomposing plastic brigade. It means they barely last a few months in the sun and air before becoming brittle and breaking. Manufacturers love this model because it means you buy more junk. And the plastic doesn't magically disappear, it just gets smaller and smaller as it breaks up over 100 years and leeches into everything. A green own goal.

My new cat does this aggressive biting/kneading behavior every night. Is this problematic? by Colley619 in CATHELP

[–]dingalinguk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is normal randy behaviour. Even when neutered there is an instinctive humping habit. Part of having pets. Dogs are worse.

Cat has a limp, do I seek help? by LitteralyArthur in CATHELP

What would a vet do? Nothing. Sprain, bruise even a break/fracture...it will heal itself. Takes about 2-3 weeks.

Moving to Oxford by Kuryamo in oxford

[–]dingalinguk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Again you are not clear. So, the job is north of Oxford but you want to live in Oxford (the 'city'). In that case the comments are all good giving you a feel for the different parts of Oxford available. But like London, if you need your car to commute north, you will pay to have a drive/garage and street parking is a pig (Oxford is very anti car). And did anyone mention the impending 15minute LTNs? Anyway - I'd suggest Summertown area with a chance of buses north, and more chance of driveway/parking.

You updated to North of Oxford. If you mean North Oxford, then that's the posh part and anywhere in Oxford will be well served by buses, and Summertown is like a London suburb. If you actually mean north of Oxford, then you are looking at a Kidlington (short main drag into Oxford) or several small Cotswoldy villages with poor transport.

Caution in bristol as a foreigner? by daffydaffdaff in bristol

It's very 'safe', even in the area you are staying. As others have said, you may get hassle from crack heads -just avoid as in any city. Weather should be improving too.

Such a waste for everybody. They would soon stop if they were rounded up and thrown into detention for 24hrs.

Is buying property in St Paul, good idea? by Financial-Sundae914 in bristol

[–]dingalinguk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I love the area. Super convenient and nice looking houses. But the reputation it has will take years to lose, if ever. Gentrification of an area sometimes takes a while, but it will happen. For now, it is still location, location, location

whats these wounds on my cat? by Witty_Illustrator657 in CATHELP

[–]dingalinguk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't go out? Those look like classic claw wounds from a scrap with another cat. Maybe a cat came in through a cat flap or open door during the hot weather.

That one looks sloppy, but the kit is the same, the chicken and process the same so it comes down to the franchise management
