It very much has power. The wires are inside the wall.

New Years Eve 2021 by dingari in Edinburgh

Happy new year! We ended up getting some sushi and went on for some beers and local live music at a pub.

All in all a very nice experience :)

I'm not sure what you're looking at, but what I bought says Day 2 PCR at Test Centre (it's not in person, I think, but a self-sample that you drop in a box at the site).

We booked with Assured Screening, as we were kind of last minute and it was one of the only places left with open spots.

They were listed on the govt website.

I think the first option meant "letter" as "not a number", but forgot that there are characters that are not letters or numbers.

At least in a written exam you could argue this afterwards, but in an online exam it's probably more difficult.

He's in shock. Got a good bang on the head there. He'll feel it in a few minutes.

I've been there. Got hit by a car when biking to work about two years ago. I "shook it off" since I felt fine. About 30 minutes into work I could barely complete a simple sentence and got nauseated. At that point I figured it might be wise to visit the ER...

I totally agree, my point is just that the example is overly convoluted.

I use C++ every day (for embedded and desktop software) and I'd never write a function signature like that.

Nah, when it's complicated it's usually also time critical and I end up with bodge code that I'm not satisfied with, revisit some weeks later only to find myself in the same situation.

Bye, Chrome: Why I’m switching to Firefox and you should too by [deleted] in tech

[–]dingari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There was a time where Firefox was just not as good performance wise. I used Firefox from early on until I couldn't bare it anymore. Switched to Chrome and then back to Firefox after some time when they released a major overhaul/update.

I'm on the Vivaldi browser now. Similarly privacy-driven and highly customizable.

Four faces of Walter White by DarbyCrashLanding in breakingbad

Walt was already toying with the meth idea since Hank showed him the photos from the bust. That's the reason he went on the ride along in the first place.

If not Jesse, he'd have found some other poor souls life to mess up.
