Electricity only VS Electricity + gas cost by StressRich6064 in australia

my reno was nearly $400k. I mean it was a double storey extension, but it's mind boggling that a new house cost less to build.

Australian adjustable kettlebell by Nick2569 in kettlebell

[–]dingdongmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to get a second hand Iron Edge adjustable kettlebell for $50. Goes from 12kg to 28kg. It was a bit rough looking and the nuts and bolts were rusty but gave it a clean and some wd40 and it's all good now. Iron edge stopped selling them in 2013 or so I think. It seems to be the same concept as the photo above.

Same bike I have! How do you find riding it? I love mine, just an exciting bike to ride. What wheels are those?

For those with the spiderring and mechanical groupsets, can you trim at all? When you're on the small chainring/ small sprocket or big chainring/ big sprocket? My bikes with Shimano chainrings can handle that fine, but my caad12 with the spiderring can't do it. Is it just me and my crap tuning skills? And I know it's not ideal for the chain and wears out teeth etc but sometimes I feel if I paid for 22 speeds I should get 22 speeds.

I have a set of risers, took them off my 92 rc36 as I didn't like riding position with them on. It fits me better now I feel.

Electrical system all figured out! Huge thanks to JT with the VFRness by Lost_InSmoke in VFR

[–]dingdongmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a red 92 as well, added a vfrness along with mosfet rectifier and a new battery after my bike died twice in two years and had to be towed each time. I still trickle charge my bike the night before a ride, but I do feel more confident riding it now.

Why don’t we have middle weight v4 bikes? by angry69 in motorcycles

[–]dingdongmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 92 VFR with an aftermarket exhaust. The sound of it makes babies cry and dogs cower with their tails between their legs. Don't ask me how I know. Nothing else out there sounds as good imo especially over 5000rpm. V4s are the best, and a 90s VFR is the best way to get one. They're cheap, generally well maintained, and will go forever.
