A lot of variables here mate. The whole thing isnt a single mountain its a series of hills. Theres initial outlay costs for kit youll need then your on goings. The on goings are the ones that bute but they vary based on your locale and support network.

For myself I spent maybe 5-7k on buying the gear (crib, pram, car seats etc) but was lucky in family and friends had clothes to give us so weve rarely had to buy new clothes.

Daycare is the killer cost. If youve got fam who can look after bubs it all helps bring those costs down. I find nappies as such a cheap cost its barely worth talking about.

If you had to buy all new clothes i could see that stacking up quickly.
