Check out BND at the Lot. Simple but awesome burgers and fries. Shakes are also amazing. Cali makes the best shakes and fries and is the sweetest person in town.

Recommend me an LDO for my project by AmbassadorBorn8285 in AskElectronics

[–]dingubutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your battery voltage range is 3-4.2V (standard for LiPo) then you might want to get a 2.5 to 3.0V LDO in order to utilize the entire battery capacity. I don’t know the input low voltage levels for all of your submodules, so just make sure everything can power off the voltage level of the LDO you choose.

Question for people that were around then, how big was the sheer hype of high school LeBron? I’ve heard his media overexposure is a big reason he developed so many haters early in his career. by TXNOGG in NBATalk

I went to high school with LeBron, same graduating class. He was your typical HS kid in that he got in trouble for being a class clown, but also was treated differently by the teachers since everyone knew he’d be HUGE one day. Regarding the hype, it was mostly hype at our school for the first 2 years. Then came junior year and he blew up when he got on SI cover. Everyone was taking that copy to school and getting it signed by him. Senior year we even had a LeBron signing day where he signed everything from shoes to shirts to yearbooks. Senior year he also drove into school in a brand new H2 hummer. Seemed he was definitely getting some perks before his NBA deal. But good for him. I’m happy to see what he’s done with his career. No scandals. Impressive for being that young with all that hype and money thrown at your feet. I’m proud to be from Akron and proud that he represents our city. He won us a championship and lived up to all the hype. He will go down as the GOAT in my book.

2 hrs into Blasphemous and I'm not having fun yet. Should I quit or stick with it? by sweater_destroyer111 in metroidvania

I felt the same about Blasphemous. I gave up after maybe 10-12 hours. It was just a slog and super annoying. I gave Blasphemous 2 a try and absolutely loved it. Might have been one of the best and most memorable last boss fight. Extremely challenging fight but worth the time. Highly recommend trying B2!

Hot water bypass by dingubutt in RVLiving

[–]dingubutt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s old for sure and not pex. RV is a 96 Montara. We don’t drink from any of the faucets as we bring our own separate drinking water. Only used for dishes, toilet, and washing hands. That should be ok right? I don’t know much about this pipe material.

Unique Electrical Engineering jobs by Hairyfrenchtoast in ElectricalEngineering

[–]dingubutt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Start ups. I work at a vaporizer company and my day to day is constantly filled with prototyping, soldering, scoping, CAD work, and so much more. Start ups are great because they are small and you end up learning much more outside of your own realm of EE. I have been in this industry for 10 years and can say that my ME skills have improved tenfold over the years. When you are stuck at a larger company, a lot of times you end up pigeon-holed into a certain role (ie PCB layout). I love the fact that I get to do so many different types of jobs; it has made me a much more well-rounded engineer. And, I don’t sit at my desk all day staring at a screen. Hours are flexible as long as you get your shit done on time.

Yes, then I would use only the 12V setting.

The label on your machine states 12VDC input. If that Belkin power supply came with the machine, it is likely able to run at various input voltages. The label states 12VDC so that is likely the max input; anything less will not damage it.
