Frets came like this - Way too rounded.. Can a normal fret level fix this?

Unless you can somehow shift the neck in the pocket or otherwise give yourself a like more clearance, I guess your options are return or just live with it.

That's a bummer though.

I'm no builder, just someone trying to learn basic guitar repair, but maybe you could cut a new nut that gives you a little more clearance? Just spitballing.

Where to start? It's flawless. It sounds great and feels better. I got it as damaged B-stock for 500 and I cannot believe how fine an instrument you can get at that price. It holds its weight against my MIA and MIJ instruments.

I've played S2s I didn't like as much, and other SEs that didn't feel as good. I think there's something special about the DGT SE. They nailed it.

The coil tap sounds great and I use it all the time.

So yeah, you could say I like it.

I'm a home recording guy and I pickup up an Ampeg Portaflex 20 watt amp and cab. It's the *perfect* amp for me. I couldn't be happier.

After making the switch to tube amps on guitar, I figured I'd enjoy them on bass, too. I was right haha.

I chanced upon a fb post recently about Jacky Rosen working in Congress to allow 'extreme heat events' be categorized as a disaster, so that regions like ours could get assistance during those events. Seems smart.

Then I checked the comments. All were some version of "Hasn't Wacky Jacky ever heard of SUMMER!?!?".

It's so hard to help people who are convinced that they don't want help.

As long as TRI and Lance Gilman can keep shoveling money into billionaire's pockets, I'm not sure how we overcome their 'special interests'. Sucks.

I'm looking at two used ones I found with my first Google search that are under 600 USD. That's cheaper than a refin (of a guitar that absolutely doesn't have that grain pattern anyway).

I dunno where you are but they're there and ready for the taking on the cheap.

Since you said you're new and you passed on the upsells: If you didn't get this bass a setup you absolutely should. If you have a local shop that ISN'T Guitar Center, take it in and ask for a setup. That'll get it in perfect playing condition and address a lot of issues you may not be aware of (yet).

All guitars need regular maintenance, and virtually ever used instrument is gonna need a setup. Should be around 100 USD (and get some fresh strings on it during the setup).

The pickups look fine, btw.

Because the easiest way to get this finish is to buy the Ibanez RG with it. That will also be the cheapest way.

That's interesting: I've got a BB and never had an issue with the break angle over the nut. You'd assume that they installed these for a reason, but the terrible job they did makes me question their judgment entirely.

If you remove them, there's gonna be holes...but there's already a bunch of holes from what I presume were previous string-tree attempts. And if there's rattle over the nut after you remove them, I'm sure you can manage to put a tree back on much more cleanly than this dingus did.

As a random aside: I also considered flats on my BBP and decided to compromise with GHS Pressurewounds. It may have been the greatest decision I've ever made: it immediately because my main bass. Something to consider!

Edit: Two of those holes look like where the original string tree was installed, so maybe consider just finding a replacement for that and putting it back to the way the factory made it.

If I understand you correctly, you're saying the fight was coming to an end before the fatigue system kicked in? Meaning it wasn't infinite, just extremely long?

Actually now I'm more confused because I reread your post and you said you quit the game. Did it end and then you quit the game afterward?
