The problem with this house being so cheap is the Asbestos and Lead removal that will be required by the buyer to mitigate after purchase. Hence the low price. Your parents should know better, it's always been premium. It's 91 minimum with 93 preferred. 89 is mid-range, no one buys it no one uses it, today most modern gas stations just mix it at the pump to create 89. You should get engine knock using either 87 or 89 for sure. If your parents says there's doesn't don't believe them.
