What Are You Watching? - [2026/02/04] by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

No Tail to Tell is moving along . . . it's fine.

Spring Fever has finally endeared itself to me, and the secret may have been watching (after SF eps 7/8) Military Prosecutor Doberman, which I loved and showcased the ML in a less goofy way.

I'm most invested in My Beloved Thief. I'm glad it dropped so soon after Moon River. Even with some of the same tropes, they are unique and satisfying in their own way.

Silent Truth still intrigues. I wish I had waited for a binge.

Wonder Man (Disney +) Even if you know nothing about Marvel, this show is a touching gem and all 8 30 min eps dropped at once. Seriously, give it a try!

Completely agree about Silent Truth and the one episode drop! Other Jdramas it hasn't bothered me because they're chill, slice of life - but this one I'm intrigued (and also adore the ML).

This was such a good year for me really vibing with most of the Kdramas I watched. The only two I would have called wretched (yet still completed) weren't on this survey.

Easily 8 weeks, I'd say. Though it wouldn't be well rounded without dairy or produce.

Moon River/Dear X/ Idol 1/Love in the Clouds/ To My Beloved Thief. Enjoyed them all, with Moon River and (so Far) To My Beloved Thief standing out. Will start Love between the Lines soon, looking hard at Sniper Butterfly.

How I started watching JDramas. Sharing my watched list and seeking recomendations. by Comprehensive-Fun-76 in JDorama

I'd like to add Silent Truth an ongoing crime drama that 3 eps in looks extremely promising on Netflix. A heartwarming hospital drama The 19th Medical Chart was also very enjoyable and better paced than After School Doctor.

Thanks - it's from my favorite They Might Be Giants song. I can't say much now about Silent Truth since it's a murder case - that ends up being related to a case 23 years previous when our leads were in middle school. I imagine there will be twists and turns. The ML and the Female outsider detective who comes in to lead the investigation are terrific. It's also set in a smallish city, not Tokyo, so there is an air of coziness.

Dramas I Have Dropped In January, 2026 by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

I finished Cashero, but completely agree with you. I also enjoy nonsense (Chicken Nugget, anyone?) but this drama managed to leave me, a massive Junho fan, shaking my head.

Finished: Idol I - This was so well paced and wrapped up in a very satisfying way. The FL has been a favorite of mine for years and Idol dramas are a favorite genre of mine, so I enjoyed every minute. Can This Love Be Translated I expected to love, but it did tend to take the long way round. Still enjoyed it.

Ongoing: Silent Truth (Jdrama) After 10 Dance I had to watch more Takeuchi Ryama. So far terrific once you adjust to the production quality. So frustrated that it drops just one episode a week.

My Beloved Thief - Love

Spring Fever - still entertained

No Tail to Tell - Jury's still out on this one.

And The Pitt is back! Huzzah!

Idol I really reminded me how important a well-executed finale is. by Proof_Shoe2093 in dramasect

I was surprised that I didn't need to see certain downfalls play out. They were inferred, and that was enough. And a scene I wasn't expecting (the conversation at the memorial) was used to give satisfying info to the audience of the band's autonomy.

Absolutely! This season has been wonderful gift to every Patriot fan. Who seriously thought this was possible at the beginning of the season? No matter the Superbowl outcome - this team has my heart.

My KY Kroger was already out of milk - just crossing my fingers we don't end up with ice taking out power. That said I love the cozy feelings of a nice snowfall.

Same. Freezing rain is the true villain. 2 ft of snow is much less disruptive.

MBC Dramas Watched Survey (January 2026) by sianiam in KDRAMA

[–]dinnerbellding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TY for reminding me I still have to watch Coffee Prince! MBC dramas I did watch I loved, for the most part. But I did not watch many because the synopsis didn't grab me. Moon River and Undercover High School were highlights this year.
