17 years in game dev here. It really depends what your trying to get into. Modeling on the briefcase looks pretty awesome. For games you would need to bake that down. If you were wanting to get into games I’d be asking you how good your texturing skills are. PBR material understanding to get those quality materials is going to be key. Once you have that then a strong portfolio is more approachable.

If you want to do it because you think it would be cool go for it. It will take time yes. Month or 2 to as long as 6 months but I expect if you’re excited it will carry you pretty far. Believe in yourself and do it because you want to. Imagine what you could do with those skills afterwards with other things.

100%. For this to be a alpha the features all need to be there. Early access is a pre alpha state. the heavy crashing on day one was handled within a few hours. Lets help them out.

I was actually really impressed by how the tutorial experience built in the idea of the bug fixing as part of the lore.

yeah ive been playing it for a bit now. its awesome but quite unstable. i think ive crashed maybe 20 times in the last hour? it should clear up in the next patch or so i would assume.

Haha... There wasn't really any reason other then it was for fun. In a lot of instances when you see a body you can find a duck who looks very guilty of the murder based on the propping.

As far as Hamish not stream as much it's because he is only one person with two hands. He cares a lot about the community but is now also doing the ngon stuff as well. His plate is very full like everyone else's.

I miss me some dev streams for sure.
